Ummmm MSNBC CANADA was discontinued by the CRTC and replaced by the same MSNBC that is in America…..so in other words Stan T. you are dumb yet again…the guy that doesn’t understand the second amendment, who those the first part of it was separated by a period not a comma….AYHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

Only difference is that MOST people that watch it KNOWS that it’s opinion, while the Fox News idiots think Fox News isn’t and pretty much worships the channel and the hosts…as per example in here.

    Jeff—

On the topic of media bias…

You have the right to disagree or just plain not believe what I have to say, since I am not going to back it up with concrete evidence. I have a Journalism degree from Michigan State, an accredited college, and have worked in both print and broadcast.

I can tell you this with the utmost sincerity: the media is controlled by Liberals. That’s just a fact, and one that was widely acknowledged by nearly every professor I had (employers, on the other hand, will NOT admit it). Bias comes in many forms. It’s not just how a story is reported, but the choice of which stories to report, and what angle to focus on. This has been going on for the entire history of the press. If you are a conservative in the news industry, you are ostracized. They pick and choose which stories they want the public to know about, and relegate the ones they don’t like to page 7, or the trash bin.

I’m sorry, but that’s the truth. You can choose to believe me or not. I cannot present an empirical evidence, only my experience. I just thought I would throw in my two cents, since I have first hand knowledge of the topic.

    Thank you.

    Redbarsoup—

Before you go making fun of anyone else for printing misinformation, I should remind you that your credibility was destroyed long ago when yours truly caught you reporting an Internet hoax as a legitimate news story, and arguing about it incessantly. I believe there was more than one occasion, but I can’t be certain. So kindly remove yourself from your high horse before you make a fool of yourself again.

and you kids say Fox News doesn’t have an agenda. How DARE Jim Carrey have an opinion on gun control!! That’s where this all started….

    ——————–

Didn’t you read what you posted? Gutfeld wasn’t upset over his gun control position. The fact he attacked a dead guy (Charlton Heston) was his main focus. Second he called gun owners M’fers. Then pointed out what a hypocrite Carrey is.

You say something about free time? LOL

  • Coffee Steve

    @Ratboy

My Daughter uploaded a picture of her when she was on the airbus they flew over to Amsterdam for the layover to Scotland. An airbus, ok? one of the best planes to fly on, and she is complaining, “Dad they gave me a window seat right beside the plane”

I wrote her and said “Make sure when your flying you watch for the Kremlins” (Ala the Twilight Zone show where William Shatner sees one on the wing of a plane) She writes back ‘What’s a Kremlin?”

By the way anyone see the Louisville-Duke game and where Kevin Ware ripped a bone out of his leg”? Awful!!!

Update though, he tweeted a few pics out after his surgery that went well, and didn’t seem to be in much pain.

By the way I am HUGE Basketball nut, coached in optimist league’s for 20 years (seems like 100 years ago) and know my beans about the sport, this Louisville team is as quick and good of a defensive team I have EVER seen. Unless they have a total breakdown, they will win it.

Looks like people of cyprus lied to again more that 10% will be taken, and looks like the rich got some inside information,

Cypriot accounts and deposits above 100,000 euros (£84,300; $128,200) in the two biggest banks could be reduced by as much as 60%.

News that the Cypriot President’s family moved 21 million euros to London days before the bank accounts of his people were looted as part of the bailout deal serves as another reminder that while the media portrays the victims of the Cyprus “haircut” as the mega rich and wealthy Russian oligarchs, the real victims are middle class families and small business owners.

Jeff, you are right, I found it there on Greg K, but also on Medialite, the examiner, and others. BBL

NY’s Common Core-Aligned Lessons Use Scientology Videos to Teach Students They Have Right to Food, Housing, Clothing, Medicine, Even a Job
    - -

A public school in New York state is teaching an eight-week course in the U.N.’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights while the U.S. Constitution is only taught for three weeks.

Researching the videos featured on the U.N.’s website and part of the homework assignment from Common Core, you’ll notice a couple of unusual things.

The producer of these videos was the Church of Scientology.

The clips have been online since 2008, most of them were uploaded on April 3 of that year.

When you watch the clips via Scientology’s YouTube channel, the church has disabled the commenting section under the videos, slightly considering rights No. 18 and No. 19 — freedom of thought and freedom of expression.

Within the assignments for the U.N. study section, students are instructed to watch a video produced by the Church of Scientology and are offered additional 30 short videos about each of the Human Rights. All of these videos are also products of Scientology.

Just remember, this church is a cult.

    California’s Net Worth Down To A Negative $127.2 Billion…

Were California’s state government a business, it would be a candidate for insolvency with a negative net worth of $127.2 billion, according to an annual financial report issued by State Auditor Elaine Howle and the Bureau of State Audits.

The report, which covers the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012, says that the state’s negative status — all of its assets minus all of its liabilities — increased that year, largely because it spent more than it received in revenue.

Didn’t California just raise taxes ?

Exclusive: Illegal Border Crossings Double, Border Becomes Less Secure as Beltway Gets Close to Deal on Immigration Reform

As the immigration reform Gang of Eight inside the Beltway prepares to announce a deal later this week, claiming border security will come before a path to citizenship for millions of illegals, Border Patrol agents have seen illegal border crossings double and warn the cutting of agent work hours will only result in less border security, not more.

“We’ve seen the number of illegal aliens double, maybe even triple since amnesty talk started happening,” an agent told Townhall, who asked to remain unnamed due to fears of retaliation within Customs and Border Protection [CBP], something he said is common. “A lot of these people, although not the majority, are criminals or aggravated felons. This is a direct danger to our communities.”

Data obtained by Townhall and reported within CBP from February 5 through March 1, 2013 shows 504 illegal aliens were spotted exploiting the Tucson/Nogales area, 189 were caught on CBP intelligence cameras. Of those 504, only 174 were apprehended and 32 of the 189 on camera were carrying large drug load packs for Mexican cartels. Some were armed with AK-47 style weapons

Can mass marketing heal the splits on ‘Obamacare’?

How do you convince millions of average Americans that one of the most complex and controversial programs devised by government may actually be a good deal for them?

With the nation still split over President Barack Obama’s health care law, the administration has turned to the science of mass marketing for help

    -

They used to call this brainwashing.

The Democrat blog ‘Political Wire’ has this:

Hillary in 2016 Would be Terrible

    Unpaid Debts

During her first run, Hillary had racked up $19,480,893 in unpaid campaign debts. This is a staggering number that has us concerned about the way she would handle the nation’s finances.

    -
    She Wouldn’t Be Taken Seriously

Clinton would be the first female president of the United States. Even if she were great at her job, there is a chance that none of her accomplishments would be taken seriously. A distraction we shouldn’t have to deal with

    -
    Hiding Contributions

In 2006, Hillary’s 2000 campaign for New York Senate was fined $35,000 for failing to accurately report $721,895 in contributions. What else is she hiding?

    -

    Can’t Forget Bill

Sorry Hillary but America hasn’t forgotten the mockery your husband made of the office. During his time in office he became the second president in US history to be impeached. And you stood right by his side.

    -

    Public Relations

She may have trouble smoothing things over with cultures that do not view women on the same level as men. The recent fallout over the Benghazi attacks are a fine example of this.

    -
    Stolen White House Items

When President Bill and Hillary Clinton left the White House after Bill’s run as President, they were caught stealing furniture, paintings and other items that belong to the White House and the American people. They quietly returned and repaired the items only after the scandal broke out.

    -
    Senate

As a Senator, Clinton never really showed a clear mission for time in office. We can’t help but wonder if her role as the President would be just as directionless.

    -
    Right Hand Man

Hillary has been acting as the Secretary of State for the Obama administration. Even though she received a “Pants on Fire” award from PolitiFact in 2008 for saying that Obama “threatened to bomb Pakistan.” This makes her appear to be a little two-faced and clearly very deceitful.

    -
    The Big Handout

Hillary was able to use her connection to President Obama to pay off her debts in 2013. He was able to donate nearly half a million dollars to her. Would she still take debts so lightly in officer?
