how can NBC be ahead of ABC with most of their shows hitting 1.0 ?

  • Christian

    @Marcos

these are averages for the entire season so far

  • THE OLD MAN

    Such a powerhouse CBS is!

  • romo

Capt. obvious says fox wins next year.

  • Max Vrany

@romo, the NFL playoff rotation only gives FOX a 3-tenths advantage over CBS. There’s too much else up in the air to call a victory yet.

  • MARSEPH

Doesn’t Fox have the SuperBowl next season? If so it will probably win the season….if not than NBC could be in the mix as ratings continue to fall

  • Spencer

Well deserved! CBS has the best all around quality programming that all gets great ratings. They don’t just have one powerhouse reality show to rely on. Consistent quality all around.

What would the unrounded numbers for NBC and FOX be?

  • Nick

Next year will be boring. Fox & CBS will duke it out for #1 (probably will go to CBS because they have great pilots and Fox’s singing shows are declining), NBC will be third (thanks to Olympics) and poor ABC will be stuck in fourth again…

  • Joe

Where are all the NBC naysayers who were sure Fox would overtake them for 2nd place? With Voice outperforming Idol and Revolution doing better than Following, an NBC 2nd place finish is in the bag. And their 8% decline was WITHOUT the Superbowl.

Only CBS except I do like ABC’s The Middle, Modern Family, Suburgatory, Nashville, and Revenge….plus Fox’s Bones

Why can’t this site show the top tv shows of the season to date like zap2it?

  • Brian in CT

Man, I’m with you. A great addition to this site would be the “season-to-date” top 20 (or 25) TV series. I’m sure there are many users that want to keep track of the ratings race among TV shows in addition to that of the networks.
