Season to Date, Univision is the Only Top 5 Broadcast Network to Increase Viewership Among Adults 18-49, with ABC, NBC, FOX, and CBS Declining

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of March 25 to March 31, 2013

 

  • · For the entire week (M-SU), Univision ranked #4 among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC. This marks the ninth consecutive week where Univision ranked #4 or higher among Adults 18-34.

 

  • · Season to date among Adults 18-49, Univision increased +2% over prior year while the E-L broadcast networks decreased (FOX -22%, ABC -8%, NBC -8%, CBS -4%).

 

  • · On Monday night, Univision ranked as the #4 network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

  • · On Tuesday night, Univision ranked as the #4 network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

  • · On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering NBC and CBS in each demographic. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics.

 

  • · On Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #4 network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering NBC in each demographic. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics.

 

  • · On Friday night, Univision ranked as the #2 network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, NBC, and FOX in each demographic. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics.

 

  • · Airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked #4 among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX in both demographics. “Sabado Gigante” averaged 2.0 Million Total Viewers 2+, 850,000 Adults 18-49, and 331,000 Adults 18-34. Also, it ranked among the top 10 programs of the evening for each demographic.

 

  • · On Sunday night, Univision ranked as the #4 network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC.

 

ü At 7 p.m., Unvision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which averaged 1.5 Million Total Viewers 2+, 679,000 Adults 18-49, and 267,000 Adults 18-34.

 

ü At 8 p.m., “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty) averaged 2.7 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.2 Million Adults 18-49, and 522,000 Adults 18-34.

 

ü Following “NBL” at 10 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) averaged 2.6 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.2 Million Adults 18-49, and 491,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  • · At 8 p.m., Univision’s novela “Porque El Amor Manda” (Because Love Rules) helped Univision rank as the #4 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34. The novela averaged 3.6 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.9 Million Adults 18-49, and 881,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  • · Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Amores Verdaderos” (True Love) helped Univision rank as the #4 network among Adults 18-34 for the hour (M-F). “Amores Verdaderos” averaged 4.3 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.2 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.1 Million Adults 18-34.

 

  • · Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Amor Bravio” (Fierce Love) helped Univision rank as the #3 network for the hour (M-F) among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49. “Amor Bravio” averaged 3.8 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.9 Million Adults 18-49, and 850,000 Adults 18-34.
