Even Joe Klein is seeing the handwriting on the wall: ObamaCare is in big trouble! Klein is blaming it on incompetence but I have a couple of words for Joe and other startled liberals who can’t believe what they are watching. ObamaCare is in trouble because it violated a couple of rules that a nice counselor taught me at a high school Junior Achievement class in Wisconsin. First, don’t bite more than you can chew. In other words, who in their right mind thought that bureaucrats could take over 1/6 of the US economy competently

Millions Could Get Surprise Tax Bills Under ‘Obamacare’ If They Don’t Accurately Project Their Income

    -
Those requesting assistance know that subsidies are based on income. The lower your income, the bigger the subsidy.

But the government doesn’t know how much money you’re going to make next year. And when you apply for the subsidy, this fall, it won’t even know how much you’re making this year. So, unless you tell the government otherwise, it will rely on the best information it has: your 2012 tax return, filed this spring.

What happens if you or your spouse gets a raise and your family income goes up in 2014? You could end up with a bigger subsidy than you are entitled to. If that happens, the law says you have to pay back…………

That could result in smaller tax refunds or surprise tax bills for millions of middle-income families.

Obamacare will kill off some existing health plans

The Affordable Care Act mandate most commonly known as Obamacare has some tight stipulations that, CNN says, are forcing health care companies to rip up most of their current plans and draft new ones that comply. According to a University of Chicago study, just about half of the individual health care plans currently on the market won’t cut it .

@Coffee Steve Or maybe the North Korean generals maybe take him out.

Defense analysts say that there are indeed some hints that Kim may be losing his hold on the military.

There have been defections of small units of North Korean soldiers to China – soldiers who were subsequently turned around and sent back to North Korea, says retired Brig. Gen. Russell Howard, former commander of the 1st Special Forces Group, which has an Asia Focus.

This may seem like a positive development, but it is a problem because it means that Kim may feel the need to reassert his control over the military, by beating the war drum and trying to get his troops to rally around it. The more he needs their support, the harder he might beat the drum.

Campbell Brown: The President Gives Hollywood a Pass on Violence
Movies and videogames aren’t high among White House concerns.
There was something missing from President Obama’s Wednesday speech in Denver about gun violence. He focused almost exclusively on passing gun-control laws, and not at all on one of the nation’s biggest promoters of violence: the entertainment industry.

The American Academy of Pediatrics’ 2009 policy statement said: “The evidence is now clear and convincing: media violence is one of the causal factors of real-life violence and aggression.

The president has been more than willing to challenge the National Rifle Association, but that is like a Republican president standing up to labor unions—not a move that risks anything with his core supporters. Mr. Obama could show some real bravery by taking on Hollywood.

This surprised me coming from a former NBC reporter.

It looks like Dud-O-Rama over at MSNBC. There is no spinning these numbers. They need to develop a format like FOX that gives both points of view and does question the White House and their abuse of the bully pulpit. They did not seem to have an issue questioning a President when Bush was in office.

Ed Henry put Jay Carney in his place questioning the threats made by the White House (Napolitano) on sequester and border security.

So now Obama wants to bolster other countries and hurt the American farmers and companies!!! This guy is out of his friggin mind!!! We can feed 17 million more people ELSEWHERE!! How about US right here!!! I cant believe that people still defend this clown and his administration!!!!!

Obama Administration Seeks to Change International Food Aid

WASHINGTON — An Obama administration plan to change the way the United States distributes its international food aid has touched off an intense lobbying campaign by a coalition of shipping companies, agribusiness and charitable groups who say the change will harm the nation’s economy and hamper efforts to fight global hunger.

Proponents of the plan, however, say it would enable the United States to feed about 17 million more people each year, while helping to fight poverty by buying the crops of farmers in poor countries.

According to people briefed on the soon-to-be released fiscal year 2014 budget, the administration is expected to propose ending the nearly 60-year practice of buying food from American farmers and then shipping it abroad.

The administration is proposing that the government buy food in developing countries instead of shipping food from American farmers overseas, a process that typically takes months. The proposed change to the international food aid program is expected to save millions in shipping costs and get food more quickly to areas that need it.

The administration is also reportedly considering ending the controversial practice of food aid “monetization,” a process by which Washington gives American-grown grains to international charities. The groups then sell the products on the market in poor countries and use the money to finance their antipoverty programs.

Critics of the practice say it hurts local farmers by competing with sales of their crops.

    Obama’s Pay Cut (Tax Break)

    Talk about a circular transaction.

President Barack Obama could be able to claim a tax break for his decision to return 5 percent of his salary to the government.

Obama is giving back part of his $400,000 in salary in solidarity with federal workers facing furloughs because of budget cuts in the sequestration of federal funds.

Voluntary payments to reduce the public debt can be taken as deductions for charitable contributions, according to the Congressional Research Service.

At the 39.6 percent top federal tax rate — the one Obama insisted on last year – the $20,000 deduction for this returned pay would put $7,920 in tax relief back in his pocket.

If this happens, the government would pay Obama, who would pay the government, which would then pay Obama.

The White House didn’t responded immediately to a question about whether the president would claim the break on his 2013 tax return, which won’t be filed until early 2014.

Lower wages for Americans , less jobs, more taxes. The rich get richer, poor get poorer.

Senate Budget Committee Republican staff on Thursday released a description of what they claim is a “major flaw” in the immigration reform plan being pushed by the bipartisan “Gang of Eight”–a loophole that will end up being a multi-trillion dollar entitlement spending increase, with the burden falling on American taxpayers.

Yeyyy, Obama is giving us back 20 grand, then taking his second vacation for 2 million a day and his kids are taking their vacation for e few million…what a sport…do you think he lived like this in chicago?

Obama supports big finance and big oil to get money. Getty is big oil. Obama says one thing than does another.

Obama was scheduled to attend a cocktail reception at the home of billionaire hedge fund manager Tom Steyer and Kat Taylor before the dinner at the Gettys’ home. The president is scheduled to attend two more fundraisers along the Peninsula in Atherton on Thursday for the Democratic National Committee before departing from the Bay Area.

MORE BULLSH$# from Obumbles! This guy CANT tell the truth!!!!

Obama: Newtown Shooter Gunned Down 20 Children With ‘Fully Automatic Weapon’

At a fundraiser last night in San Francisco, President Barack Obama said that the Newtown killer gunned down 20 children using a “fully automatic weapon.” From the official transcript, provided by the White House:

Now, over the next couple of months, we’ve got a couple of issues: gun control. (Applause.) I just came from Denver, where the issue of gun violence is something that has haunted families for way too long, and it is possible for us to create common-sense gun safety measures that respect the traditions of gun ownership in this country and hunters and sportsmen, but also make sure that we don’t have another 20 children in a classroom gunned down by a semiautomatic weapon — by a fully automatic weapon in that case, sadly.

According to the prosecutor, Stephen J. Sedensky III, the killer, Adam Lanza, “killed all 26 victims inside Sandy Hook Elementary School with a Bushmaster .223-caliber rifle before taking his own life with a Glock 10 mm handgun. He says Lanza had another loaded handgun with him inside the school as well as three, 30-round magazines for the Bushmaster,” ABC previously reported.

Each of the guns used is a semi-automatic weapon, and not one is an automatic weapon.

So either Obama is wrong–or he revealed something last night about the massacre that hasn’t yet been known.

The rat can’t even list the accomplishements of the right wing GOP, so how can he sell houses???? The vast majority of the American public is in favor of Obama’s gun policies, but the extremist right wing kook pierre (who disobeys the sentiments of his own membership) has flip flopped on gun checks now that he sees he can put more blood money in his pickets. Rat doesn’t know this, and I wouldn’t expect him to since he can’t even state the right wing accomplishments, but semi and auto are just as leathal..ask Adam Lanza……
