Velocity Garners Stellar Ratings in First Quarter of 2013

–The First Network for Upscale Men Kicks Off 2013 with Best Quarter and Best Month in Its History–
(Silver Spring, Md.)— Velocity, the first network for the upscale male audience, started the year off with a bang, as the network recorded its BEST QUARTER EVER in 1Q13 for Prime rating and delivery across HH, P/M25-54 and P/M18-49. The quarterly performance was punctuated by March, which was Velocity’s BEST MONTH EVER for Prime rating and delivery among HH, P/M25-54 and P/M18-49. Competitively, Velocity climbed 22 positions in the cable rankings for M25-54 delivery in March, outpacing competing networks including IFC, G4, NFL Network, Golf Channel, and The Weather Channel.
The quarter and month were anchored by the network’s “Best of Velocity” week (3/18/13-3/24/13), the highest-performing week ever in Prime among all demo targets for ratings and delivery including P/M25-54, P/M18-49, P/M18-34, all persons (P2+), adults (P18+), and men (M18+). The week was also the highest delivering week of all time for Households.
