    Hillbilly,

    “I’ll agree the defense cuts are as phoney as the other cuts”

    I’m not at all sure how to address such a comment. Phoney cuts?

  • Matthew

    You win wars by decimating your enemy and winning over a large portion of the population like we did in Iraq. A war that we won.

    Why? Why did we win Iraq? We replaced a secular blowhard with no capacity to launch an international strike with a Shia majority, next to Shia Iran, a country that can now pursue it’s nuclear ambitions without Saddam looming over their operations. You might note that deaths continued well into the surge, and that the biggest reason for stabilization was the murder and displacement of the Sunni minority from the capital. Iran is the big winner of the Iraq War, and we shelled out $1 trillion and 4,000 lives to hand them that victory.

  • Sicilian Papa

    You don’t hear much about Iraq in the corrupt, secular, left wing, so-called objective media. That is how you know we won. You would hear plenty if a progressive produced a war victory.

    I am not looking to debate the war again but we WON despite the corrupt, secular, left wing, so-called media rooting against America because we had a Republican in the White House.

    The left never wanted the war. A valid point.

  • Matthew

    Insurgent wars are won like the way America WON in Iraq.

    By waiting until ethnic and religious minorities are murdered and scattered until the majority has a homogeneous city?

    You are right. Roman style, or bring them home. This country is not ready for what it takes.

    You mean KILLING a large population……..like we did in Iraq….

    Seems President Obama is doing quite well with Drone strikes compared to the boots on the ground and massive checks of money the Bush Admin gave to the Iraqis to stop them from attacking.

    As far as The American people having “what it takes” I don’t think you know what you are talking about. But one things is for sure…….I don’t trust a radical religious Republican conservative making the calls.

    Back to get my family tonight @ 9;30 PM.

    @Doug Z

    You mentioned Rome?

    The budget should be balanced, the treasury refilled, public debt reduced, the arrogance of officials should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed, least Rome becomes bankrupt. People must learn once again to work instead of living on Government assistance. __________Cicero, 55 B.C.

    @Ratboy

    Louisville Vs. Michigan…I called about getting tickets in Atlanta, I would have driven all night to get there in Time, cheapest I could find was a single ticket for 3200. My TV will do Just fine.

    I bet Gabriel could get us a couple of tickets :-)

  • Chriscee

    YIKES @ 3200!!! LOL

  • Coffee Steve On a Rare Sunday Visit

    @Chriscee

    Even at some UK games (Regular Season) people pay scalpers over 1200 a ticket. It’s nuts here. Louisville games go at a decent price even from the scalpers.

    I just couldn’t afford or take a chance a drive to Atlanta hoping for 2 tickets at a reasonable even though high, price.

  • Coffee Steve On a Rare Sunday Visit

    @Ratboy

    What gives man? My wife and Daughter have a 4 hour layover in Detroit, can’t you use some of your pull and speed it up, they don’t even get back to Louisville International till 9:30pm tonight :-)

    PS: all you international travelers & Domestic flights, customs and security have got much better at speeding things up, TSA is really getting much better now. Bravo….

  • Ratboy

    Coffee Dude,
    How much do you think you guys are gonna lose by? :shock: :lol:
    By the way I left a ticket for you at your house. If you find it you will have the time of your life! I included a plane ticket and room reservation! Hope you find it in time! :twisted:

  • Ratboy

    We can’t help it that there are only 7 people a Mont heading your way from Detroit! :lol:

  • Doug Z

    Jeff

    I do not trust any of them. Obama will never win this war will go on for ever . We will just come home with less money and dead troops.,

    Not funny ROTFLMBO

    My Prediction

    Louisville when it plays teams like Duke and other bigger teams usually win by 10-15 or more, its the teams like Wichita State that have smaller players that can guard Louisville’s guards that give Louisville fits.

    I Like Michigan’s team and coaching, they have heart and play hard and smart, but the difference in my humble opinion is Michigan has not faced a pressure defense like this all year. This Louisville team when it is not scared like it was Sunday can flat drive an opposing team insane.

    If the real Louisville club shows up, and I expect it will, Louisville by 10. If Michigan however hits better than normal, anyone’s game.

    Forget the CBS hype about losing the Ware Kid and the shock at that Tim Henderson kid for the Ville. Henderson is a fantastic shooter, the reason he does not play much is because of Russ Smith, Russ is just that much better than Henderson, but Henderson is a legend in Kentucky High School Basketball for his shooting ability.

    Coffee Steve On a Rare Sunday Visit

    Michigan to win by 2.

  • Coffee Steve On a Rare Sunday Visit

    EDIT:
    This Louisville team when it is not scared like it was Sunday

    Saturday I meant

    They were scared to death in the first half. Second half was more normal.

  • Coffee Steve On a Rare Sunday Visit

    @Doug Z
    Michigan to win by 2.

    You are in my prayers :lol:

  • Coffee Steve On a Rare Sunday Visit

    By the way

    Louisville (Ladies) are playing in the women’s Final 4

    Its in the 1st half and its’

    California 23-19 over Louisville’s ladies so far, great game

  • Coffee Steve

    See you guys in the AM

    Peace

  • Jeff

    During a commercial, flipping through the guide, I saw that Fox News had Huckabee on…..

    Like a dumb person in all those scary movies…… during that scene where the person just shouldn’t go find out what that noise was…..

    Like a dumb person, I turned on Huckabee……

    I just can’t take this guy seriously. I also just can’t take how people can watch this crap and actually believe what this @ss has to say.

    Heads in the sand!!
