    good morning
    cloudy and 40 this morning.

  • Ratboy

Good morning! First to Dreamer, no offense, no foot in mouth, you are fine, and keep on keep in on! :)

We all know that one of the loons took a sock off and had a puppet show but it doesn’t matter cuz the sock is just as big of a fool as the one playing with it. We the informed have disputed their talking points over and over so we don’t need to sing to the choir. We know how much trouble our country is in and we know how we got here and we know that the promises to fix it were BS and the attempts didn’t and are not working and we also know we are sinking deeper and faster than ever before.

Cloudy and 39 and I aunt holding my breath that it is gonna get nice

  • Rat-trap

Man, I keep visiting this site, thinking that Ratboy is going to answer my questions. But…. (*crickets*crickets*crickets*)

Also, no, I am not usa8888. And neither am I Jeff, or anyone else on here. I always find it funny that when more than one person has beliefs which contradict the beliefs of someone else, that those multiple people must be the same person… There’s no way more than one person would agree with democrats!

Finally, has anyone ever thought why Fox “News” has more viewers (according to Nielsen)? Look at the polls from the election–how much did Obama win by? (That’s for you, Ratboy, to GOOGLE) Yet, for some strange reason, FNC has the most viewers… Perhaps, “Old Testament heretics” and old white men all have these Nielsen Ratings boxes. Ever consider that? (And before you attack me for my old testament comments, talk to your RNC chair about the term…)

    Thanks.

  • Ratboy

    HI DUNG BEETLE!

  • Ratboy

First we had “I am not a crook!” then came “AhI did NOT have sex with that woman!” and now we have…………….
I am not usa8888. And neither am I Jeff, or anyone else on here

  • Dave Sky

Clues as to why Rat-trap may be usa8888:

    • He adapted the moniker “Rat-trap” because he’s always trying to trap Rat (Ratboy) into responding to his inane comments.

    • His concentration on “old people” being the only ones who watch Fox News. Very similar in tone.

    • His use of certain punctuation, such as periods (…) to separate sentences and end paragraphs, or dashes (–) mid-sentence.

I think he thinks that by using a new name, people will respond to him, since he may finally realize that NOONE takes any comment following the name usa8888 seriously.

Also, he probably slept over a friends house last night and figures he won’t get caught since he’s using a different IP address.

    Anyone else notice more?

  • Faith3

    Good afternoon all,

Well here is a very interesting proposal from our president. He is willing to back the Republican plan of cutting Medicare and cutting cost of living increases for social security IF the republicans are willing to raise taxes on the wealthy and invest in infrastructure. What do you think of this proposal?

  • Ratboy

    Hey there Dave Sky,
well he has waited for my answers but it is the first time he posted so he never asked any! He mentions how much Obama won by and we may have heard that once or twice before

I can only add one more thing…….YOU CANT FIX STUPID!

  • Dave Sky

    Ratboy–

I noticed that too. Forgot to mention it. It’s peculiar how he concentrates on you in particular to answer his questions and nobody else. Sound familiar?

He and his buddy were probably too busy watching Bill Maher repeatedly at the sleep-over last night, so he wasn’t able to post.

    @ Faith3

Obama’s Proposed Budget Does Not Really Cut Social Security

    April 5, 2013
    By Lonely Conservative

    Obama budget

All morning I’ve been hearing that the proposed budget that President Obama is finally getting around to submitting to Congress contains some sort of grand compromise of cuts to Social Security and Medicare, along with tax increases. (You didn’t think he would be satisfied with the last round of tax increases, did you?) See The New York Times for how it’s being reported by the MSM. Here’s the opening paragraph.

President Obama next week will take the political risk of formally proposing cuts to Social Security and Medicare in his annual budget in an effort to demonstrate his willingness to compromise with Republicans and revive prospects for a long-term deficit-reduction deal, administration officials say

But here’s the thing, his budget doesn’t really cut anything. Medicare and Social Security spending would still grow under this budget proposal.

Instead of the “cuts” heralded in headlines today, the president’s budget writers are seizing on a formula that simply tweaks the rate of growth. While it could still significantly reduce the projected 10-year budget deficit, it won’t cut anything from what seniors, veterans, students and others who rely on the programs get.

In fact, one Senate analysis reveals that the Obama “cut” will lower slightly the growth of Social Security benefits over the next 10 years to 5.9 percent from 6.1 percent.

Ditto for reports on the “cuts” to Medicare. The plan is to reduce future payments in the program to doctors and hospitals, though wealthier recipients might see higher premiums.

Read the whole thing. This is no grand compromise, it’s just new accounting

  • Rat-trap

Sorry, Dave, for using punctuation. I’ll try to be more illiterate and misspell stuff!(So you can understand…) And as for your “IP address” theory, perhaps you are merely wrong. Did that ever cross your mind? Wait, no! That could never be the case! The party of the Old White Men can NEVER be wrong! Blasphemy! We don’t get things wrong!

And Ratboy, try heading back a page or two and you will see my questions. I doubt you’ll answer them, knowing what the results will be…

All in all, it is fun chatting with you both. I hate thinking too much during the weekend, so our verbal jousting is just what I need to lower my IQ.

    Thanks!

  • usa8888

Yes, Rat-trap is NOT usa8888. I have been looking for a new pair of sunglasses and a new blue t-shirt so I fit Rat’s image of me. Rat and Big Sky should ponder the meaning of “coincidence.” We are ready for you right wing accomplishments anytime now, Rat…… but I think Rat-trap makes some accurate observations about the old white guys and the right wing GOP and would add that many are racists, bigots, religious kooks, anti-government kooks and corner the market on backward thinking….

  • Faith3

    Ratboy,

I agree, he’s not cutting from the programs I mentioned, but as I stated, he is decreasing what seniors will be getting for cost of living increases. I guess I’ll ask you are anyone who may interested in answering me- Do people (or just the party) want him to cut from the actual programs too?

  • Dave Sky

    Hahahaha….yup, nailed it!!

Notice how one answered just after the other. He probably got his friend to send the first from his address, and followed with his own, so as to fool the moderators. Some coincidences are TOO strong to ignore.

How about those right-wing accomplishments, Rat? Hahahaha!!!

  • Dave Sky

Notice how both end their sentences with dots?

    ….

    Coincidence?

  • Rat-trap

Dave, really? They are called “ellipsis”–look it up…

And what is your obsession with IP addresses? Really?

  • Dave Sky

    Rat-trap:

Since you want to get technical, ellipsis are not used at the end of sentences in place of periods, as you and your alter-ego do. The only time you would use them at the end is a sentence is in place of a completed thought, or trailing off, such as, “Rat-trap is a complete…”

    Look it up.

Oh wait, I mean look it up…
