smash season 2

Tonight, Smash moves to the dreaded Saturday burnoff timeslot. It's most recent episode earned a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating, and that was with the assistance of an episode of  The Voice. It has gone as low as 0.7. It will face unusually strong Saturday competition from the NCAA Basketball Tournament. So how do you think Smash is going to do tonight? Make your predictions.

  • John A

0.4. That seems like the saturday normal rating.

1.1-1.2 and a third season of Smash!

  • Fakeem

I don’t see any crossover between the NCAA fans and the Smash fans, so whatever the 9pm slot normally gets is what I expect Smash to get.

  • Dan S

I’m guessing 0.4-0.5 but it could easily go even lower. I suppose it can hang on to run all the episodes like The Firm did last year.

  • gregg

i didnt know that show was still on!

  • Shari

It will be somewhere in the middle maybe better than Tuesday. With the NCAA tournament chances are it will not compare but Saturdays are a rarity nowadays. I love this show though hopefully it’ll do good tonight.

  • Fake Me Out

Can you end up owing demo points? Like tonight is soooo bad not only does it get a 0.0 but they take points away from Apprentice tomorrow night? :-)

  • Joe Daniels

Alex_2; The only way Smash would get another season is if it got 9 million viewers; especially since their have lost money on the show.

It will have 0.4 18-49 with 1.97 million

    @ Fake Me Out

LOL! Bwahahahahahah. NBC is clueless. They should be sued for malpractice. :D

  • Mark Wood

.3, funny if it goes lower.

  • Benjamin Elliott

My money’s on 0.3 in 18-49 and 1.1 million viewers.

Next week (April 13) I say 0.2 in 18-49 and 0.9 million viewers. Worse – Orphan Black on BBC America beats it that week and is up on viewers and demos from tonight. I’m certain Orphan Black will beat Smash at least one of these weeks.

  • Melissa

  • RobertN

Orphan Black beats it because, unlike Smash, the actress shows her naked butt…. a lot.

  • Gabe

    Such an underrated show.

  • JJ

Hopefully at least a 0.6. They need to at least get decent enough numbers for all eps to be aired. I’ll be watchin.

  • Danak

JJ, NBC has said they will air the rest of the season, so all 17 episodes will be shown, the last 8 in the Saturday timeslot.

  • psychic

It’ll reach numbers that are pathetic for the freaking CW.
