petar hate to remind you more people than ever have watched ncis this season. the end of year rankings go by total viewers. ncis has the chance to be number 1 even over football.

My bad. Wrong show. Two and a Half Men also ahead of Idol in the demo. Grey’s PoI AND Scandal on Idol’s heels demo-wise. Elementary not too far off in total viewers.

Wow just wow TBBT! Last year April 5, TBBT got 4.4/15; American I dol got 3.9/13.

You made it sound like POI is the star of CBS Thursday. It’s TBBT by way. I got no hate for POI. I watch and enjoy it.

and bummer about scandal ticking down. idk how it happened since both half hours were 2.7 but okay.

Half hours have nothing to do with adjustments. The half-hours you see that come out with the prelim ratings are also preliminary. Only the half-hours from the final ratings would let you see why a show is adjusted up or down.

  • Tony ^_^

    “Big Bang Theory”! :D

“New Girl” and “The Mindy Project” have their highest viewership in a looooong time. Glad “New Girl” didn’t adjust down though. :D

  • TV Addict

No!!!!! The Community series low stands!!!!!! Well, lets just hope and pray that it can stay about a 1 for the rest of the season…

  • David

New Girl isn’t doing well. The show only pulled a 2.0. For a show that’s always getting called a hit, only pulling in the same numbers as The Middle or Suburgatory is disappointing. Im a fan of the latter two, but they are by no means HITS.

We got a Ms. Hudson on Elementary Love this show so much

  • Petar Ivanov

@cbs sucks!!!wont and will not promote poi

Who cares….Good and quality shows don’t need promotion. Season 3 will hit its prime from there syndication deal which will give more exposure to the show and at least 6-7 seasons. I usually stop watching shows on season 6 so its enough for me. The real mistery is with academy and will at least some of the actors get respect they deserve from the acasemy. Its crime drama so will be hard. But Taraji and Michael are truly outstanding this season.

Weren’t people predicting Idol to fall to a 2.4 last night? lol, for a results show, almost a 3.0 isn’t bad.

POI could not beat Grey’s. :D

  • Cass

    @Petar Ivanov
Elementary is lead-in dependent from PoI. When PoI drop 2 tenths and Elementary drop 2 tenths. When PoI is up and Elemntary is up. This is srill normal for new shows but next season will be in danger if CBS move it.

I would be deeply disappointed if they separated Elementary and POI. Like you, I also fear it’s not strong enough to anchor its own night nor dismal enough to be shuffled off to Sundays a la Mentalist. Since CBS owns it, and it’s a procedural that’s bound to have widespread international appeal, there’s no reason for them not to protect it. I prefer the status quo and hope CBS will continue to stick their new drama post-NCIS: LA next season.

As much as Idol still does well for Fox… it needs to go soon. I know it still pulls 3’s and 2’s but the network needs to rework itself. Hardly anything on Fox hits 3’s anymore.

  • Petar Ivanov

@petar hate to remind you more people than ever have watched ncis this season. the end of year rankings go by total viewers. ncis has the chance to be number 1 even over football.

I know that and we already talk with you about that. Wikipedia also rank shows by viewers and then POI is again #3 but after NCIS and NCIS LA but again we count prime demo 18-49 not viewers or other demos, gender or something else. The same with networks ranking. Its close to C3 what advesires count not viewers. Viewers is only for PR.

  • Petar Ivanov

sorry….are only for PR. No edit button.

  • Billy

Please don’t let the Community fans tell us the show is getting renewed. With all due respect NBC has to be out of their minds if they renew a show at a 1.0 and only 2.32 million viewers. A network would be insane to renew a show with numbers that low.

  • Petar Ivanov

@You made it sound like POI is the star of CBS Thursday. It’s TBBT by way. I got no hate for POI. I watch and enjoy it.

I agree. TBBT is the beast and the star of CBS thursday. But my star and favorite show is POI. That is the beast from all new shows in last 3-4 years.

  • PurpleDrazi

Looks like TBBT is trying to make a run at The Walking Dead. Perhaps the fans got a little upset at a cable show stealing their thunder. :-)

  • Ram510

Scandal may not have increased from last week, but its still the #1 10pm show

  • David

Just wondering as I’m a fan of the show, and you sound like you know what you’re talking about, but what sort of numbers do you think PoI will be pulling next season, as you’ve stated the 3rd season always has the most growth?
