Yay, Happy Endings didn’t adjust down. I’m happy with so little

Rokk: “Nikita has a strong fanbase, yet none of them own televisions.”

Certainly applies to me. I download it. The problem is really few of the fans are Nielsen Family members.

    @ Richard Steven Hack

“really few of the fans are Nielsen Family members” can be said about every show on the air…

What CBS is waiting to cancel Vegas ?

Because they have nothing to replace it with.

Made in Jersey did not survive more than 2 episodes with the same ratings.

Becasue that was during the fall, when CBS had replacements available.

So, it looks as though not much adjusted either way from the overnights.

I wouldn’t call Grimm a “smash hit,” but it’s certainly doing well for NBC on Friday nights and that’s all that matters. It’s a cult show. It’s getting the ratings it needs to get. And the network is probably willing to keep renewing it and leave it alone, creatively, as a result.

  • Tony JJ

Those are great ratings for ABC! Shark Tank should stay on fridays why move it to another night and then just have Fridays drop. 20/20 did excellent as well. Not to mention Happy Endings gaining over last week. VERY GOOD news for ABC, especially since Shark Tank clearly isn’t affected by the 8:30 comedy’s ratings, which is great news.

Grimm is the same as Shark Tank. NBC shouldn’t move it. It’s getting great ratings on a friday against Shark Tank! and sandwiched in between two ratings failures! NBC should try to launch another supernatural show in October this fall either before or after Grimm.

CBS needs to move an old vet hit to Fridays. My vote would be either CSI or Hawaii Five-0. Or both. Solid for Blue Bloods!

  • Carl

    20/20 had a special on General Hospital’s 50th anniversary, I think.

  • Networkman

@CBSviewer, I agree with you totally. Vegas should be higher since it aired after NCIS:LA for half the season. I thought it would be able to garner at least a 1.3 considering it is following Undercover Boss. I really feel CBS should move Blue Bloods to 9pm to see how it will perform and then try repeats of Good Wife @10pm.

  • Networkman

Blue Bloods remains consistent despite the lower rated lead in. It is really solid for CBS on Friday. I agree with TonyJJ that CBS needs to move two of their old vets to the night. Hawaii Five-O may work @8pm to start the night. I’m not sure what CBS wants to do with The Good Wife. Will it be on the Fall schedule or will it simply receive a reduce order of 13 episodes to end the series?

Grimm is doing very well— for a Friday. But it is not a SMASH HIT with 1.5 and 5 million viewers. If that is a smash hit, what would one say about Undercover Boss with 1.7 and and 8.5 million viewers? I guess it “Undercover Boss has gone nuclear !!!”??? LOL!

  • PurpleDrazi

    @Other than THAT…
Grimm is doing very well— for a Friday. But it is not a SMASH HIT

I know, right? The hyperbole on this site is the worst ever! ;-)

  • Michael Z

Fashion Star? How does Telegdy still have a job?

  • evesix

0,3 and they still consider on renewing the sht… For another 22 episodes season! Are they stupid or just delusional?!…

  • Narciso

It suck to see that Vegas is getting such poor ratings. This will probably it’s only season. I know CBS will not renew it with such low numbers.

  • Jojo

    @Richard Steven Hack

True. I download it via torrent. All we can do is hope that US viewers will watch the show (on TV).

  • todd35

I love Vegas but CBS is ruining it. They took it off Tuesday and put on Golden Boy… They said they were going to move Golden Boy to Friday, and tried it one week but decided it wasn’t working. They then put off Vegas for another two or three weeks before bringing it back with little to no premotion… My guess is that very few fans even knew that it had come back on.

  • Denise

Hurrah for Blue Bloods. Consistently get the highest numbers!!! Best show on tv.

  • Denise

I hope that Golden Boy survives. I think it’s the best new show so far this season. I wish they would put it back on Fridays and then I would have two good shows in a row to watch.
