This week, Supernatural was the top broadcast show on GetGlue, and Game of Thrones was the top cable show for the week of April 1-7.  Remember: a show's social media popularity does not correlate to its renewal prospects and/or actual ratings.

TWD is the television monster, but Game Of Thrones is the net monster…<3

Interesting that the CW and Fox appear to dominate the GetGlue Chart week after week with a total of around five out of the ten shows. Yet aside from NBC, they’re the two networks with the least scripted drama success in the Renew/Cancel Index.

Other network shows regularly on it appear to be Scandal, Castle, Once Upon a Time, Big Bang Theory, Greys Anatomy, and Revenge, most of which are ABC with some CBS.

@Richard I think part of it is because the networks they partner with advertise “checking in” so they are gonna get more than let’s say CBS which is not a partner and doesn’t offer the stickers that the partner networks do. Plus when you go on the site it shows you which shows have stickers so people are more likely to check into it to get the stick, so it’s not a perfect system, but still it’s gonna show out of the partner networks which shows have a larger fanbase.

The 3 CW shows that are on the list (Supernatural, Arrow, Vampire Diaries) also happen to be their 3 highest rated. The 3 Fox shows on the list (The Following, Bones, New Girl) also happen to be their 3 highest rated non animated shows. Seems pretty straight forward to me.

True, though, in this case, the two top dogs in their respective lists have both already been renewed. And several others are in excellent shape. But some of the others further down the lists are not doing so well and no, their presence on these lists probably won’t help them much, come renewal time.

Fantastic, Supernatural number one again. Congrats to CW with 3 in the top ten.

Awesome to see so many of my favorite shows in the top ten. Go Supernatural, Doctor Who, Bates Motel, Game of Thrones, Psych, and Arrow!
