Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • Hmm

I guess I thought Revolution would have rebounded more, interesting that a repeat of Castle still pulled in more viewers.

  • s0303

i really wasn’t expecting the voice to be this high this installment, good for nbc.

3.3 for a rerun of tbbt is amazing…

  • Charmed

Carrie might actually be renewed, along with everything else except Cult according to Deadline :D

  • DenverDean

Major adjustments for CBS, of course. 2BG aired at 6:30 MDT and TBBT was scheduled for 930 MDT, but was bumped due to length of game. CBS sure reaps the benefits from Final Four weekend, even as first weekend ratings have been diluted because of multi-network platform.

  • Douglas

YAY to Revolution and The Following considering the competition. Both shows did great.
Hopefully Revolution will up a tenth in the finals or, at least, will not be adjusted down.
BTW, does anybody have the half-hour ratings? :D

  • nerv

2BG and TBBT repeated well. Those two would really go well. Hello CBS, this is a wake up call. Move 2BG to Thursdays after TBBT and put TAAHM back on Mondays and have it support the Monday comedy block again.

  • halloween

why would CW renew TCD getting .3-.4 in 1st season of 13 eps…they need to drop all these Josh Schwartz flop shows

  • Billy

The Voice held up very well with big competition from Basketball. I think the female skewing nature of The Voice was not affected by the mostly male dominated basketball audience.

  • zth

The numbers for 2BG and TBBT are heavily inflated by the live broadcast of the NCAA game everywhere. They will go down a lot.

  • Grey

“Revolution” only a 2.3 against a repeat of “Castle.” Ooooo. (Basketball or not.)

  • zth

By the way, where are all The Voice haters who kept saying that The Voice will definitely go down after its premiere. The CHEMISTRY between coaches is UNBELIEVABLE, and yes, Shakira is a major step ahead from XTina, to be honest. It keeps rising and rising.

  • fourat sakka

    i hope revolution doesn’t adjust down !!!!
cbs sitcom reapets very well !!

  • PHIL

No Voice will never have a singer that will go on and become a pop star.

  • s0303

revolution is not going to keep that 2.3…the voice will be adjusted up and revolution down like always…

  • Holly

You seriously don’t think the 6.7 from a special basketball event counts as competition?

  • zth

    @Grey who said:

““Revolution” only a 2.3 against a repeat of “Castle.” Ooooo. (Basketball or not.)”

That’s a very stupid comment. Basketball with a 6.7 rating obviously represents more competition than the mere 2.0 that The Castle would be doing.

  • Edward

Revolution’s number is great – especially considering how well the show usually does with men. Any “Ooooooo” is ridiculous.

  • John A

Come on TCD wont get renewed. So much did Revolution drop at the half Hours?

  • Mon

2BG and TBBT repeats will be adjusted down just as last year:

    2BG 2.5
    2.5Men 2.6

    2BG 1.6
    2.5Men 1.7

  • zth

But the interactions between judges bring the ratings nonetheless.
