    YYYEEEESSSSSS….

    THAT’S A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION SYFY…. NOW HOPEFULLY DEFIANCE PREMIERES TO HIGH NUMBERS

  • Martin

    A bit shocked considering its ratings weren’t that different from the two companion canadian shows that were renewed, and they were obviously a lot cheaper for syfy. Also, considering the ratings difference from the previously cancelled Alphas.

    Lastly, don’t watch the show and didn’t expect it to be renewed but glad for fans of the show.

  • The End

    The show did bring itself into the renewal zone when it eventually went back to hit 0.5-0.6. Had it stuck in the 0.4 zone for longer it wouldn’t of got the renewal nod.

    I was right either way when I said people need to get behind the show, and lo and behold.

    Congrats Being Human :)

  • bAUERR

    NICE! :D

  • Josh

    Sweet. Love this show!

  • Josh

    Phew… I was worried that Season 3 cliffhanger wouldn’t get resolved. So glad this got renewed.

  • JJA

    It’s about time!!

    Season 3 was amazing. The best one yet.

  • Jerry

    I wonder if the show getting licensed to air in the UK had anything to do with this decision. Regardless I am happy!

  • davie

    awesome news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wasn’t sure about this because the ratings werent exactly screaming renewal, but alas. =}

  • Diane

    What a relief!!! So happy it will be coming back. Now, if they would just order more than 13 episodes. The wait between seasons is brutal!

  • Richard Steven Hack

    Nice news. I watch the show. The characters are engaging, especially Meaghan Rath who is both hot and adorable. The addition of Xander Berkeley, late of Nikita, this season was a pleasant surprise – a werewolf “Percy” as it were. :-)

    Finally!!! :)

  • tv#1

    Awesome! I love this show. I will be very happy to see another season of it.

  • Jason50

    A lot of SYFY news today, it’s a nice show to watch but I’ll really miss Alphas.

  • thesnowleopard

    Well, *that’s* a relief! They sure dithered long enough over it.

    I do hope Jeremy Carver detaches completely from the show and concentrates more on Supernatural, though. I think Anna Fricke can handle BH on her own and SPN needs a stronger hand from its head writer.

  • Cortney Blaine

    Love this

  • unknown

    That’s good better than having another garbage reality show on Syfy. Although I feel kinda neutral. Season 3 was easily the worst season ever it seems the writers was just making up random crap with stuff like the whole zombies thing and the drama/characters this season was mostly boring hopefully the show can improve after Season 1 the show really went off the rails.

  • Joshua

    Best news ever!!!! Had a bad feeling because it is SyFy and the ratings were going down it would be axed but thank you!! I just hope if season 4 is it\s last SyFy let the writers know so it can be wrapped up. Third season of this show was the best of the series so can’t wait to season 4!!

  • The End

    @Joshua

    No reason why the show can’t come back for a 5th season should it perform a little better than this season has. And let’s be honest here, the bar hasn’t been set that high.

    @mike

    Why, oh WHY, would you want Definace to do well? All that will encourage them to do is try more tacky marketing like the Definace game instead of spending money on an actual Science Fiction TV SHOW.
