Doug–I think I can get into a good grade school but you have to pass the entrance exam…

You have no understanding of economics which you have proved time and time again. Now you are showing that you can’t add or subtract.

The high for gold was $1,891.90 in August of 2011 and currently it is trading at $1,503 an oz. If you subtract the current price from the high price you get a difference of $388.90. This is not a $500 difference. It may eventually trade to this lower price but it is not close at this time. Get your facts straight!

Jeff Mark2 and other libs must be running from you .they prove their statements, right or wrong.

Everybody , I said I would not reply to the Grasshopper, but he is so bad I could not help it.Picking on him is to easy. Poor lib, Demos, he represents you.

  • Doug Z

Grasshopper said 500 points. He does not know what a point is. It is not a dollar. Now he knows that . If he reads. Gold is up today. at least right this moment.

  • Doug Z

Gold price in 2006 was around $450 , today 1500. I wish I had done so well.

I’m not sure where your looking at gold prices but gold has been down all day since Cyprus announced they may be selling a huge position. Currently gold is down about $62 an oz. to just over $1,500.

Gold is suffering another huge loss today and Fox Fake News advertisers (like Beck) were encouraging suckers to buy it at the high in hopes it would go well over 2000. This is but one example: Fox Fake Business–the power for them to prosper…and you to lose your shirt…..

And all this buying of gold was predicatedon the misconception that the US markets were going to the dogs.

Mike W–please state your economic and job growth plan…and it better not include cutting spending in a fragile economy and cutting taxes for the wealthy who don’t create jobs in a recession…. I am waiting…

  • usa8888

This just in: the right wing kooks want to go back to the gold standard. Would you like that, Mike W.???

  • usa8888

This just in: If you’re an investor and you watch Fox Fake Business, you probably have made much less money than investors who watch Bloomberg or CNBC……..BUT you have gotten Fox Fake’s 24/7 distortions and faulty analyses, for what they worth……Think of it this way: Rupert has made a ton off of you……

Doug–you had it half right—you can not be on the gold standard…unless you want a sub-par economy with minimal growth and opportunity for only the wealthy……
Nobody but an idiot would suggest the gold standard……
