People love to hate on gh it’s been very good and the nurses ball was Fabolous stop hating if you dont watch stop complainting it’s been better than bold and the beautiful people just not supporting gh but that’s fine I know eleven people who are watching including me that’s why they cancel soaps because of people like you you haters hate on gh like people hate on beyonce but she still get paper and so will gh haters.

  • Jeff

all the soaps were up in a lot over last year in viewers and up but a little less up in demos. Up is up. Let’s be happy for the soaps’ successes!

@David i wish EVERY Fan was as smart as you! GO GH! WE ARE ROCKING!

I’m going to stay out of the ratings controversy (except to say I think ratings are a bunch of crap and basically inaccurate) and just say I loved the Nurses Ball and the SHOCKER of Stavros re-entering. In order for soaps to survive, they must keep the surprises coming and keep the spoilers out of print and off the web.

Does anyone have info on how well the replacement talk shows are doing?

  • David

JayTN is the one name calling and I challenge you JAYTN to show me a post that I ever made saying that GH would overtake Y&R. Never said that but whatever hater Jay. I could call you some other names in response to calling me dumb but I will be the better person for not going there.

GH had double digit gains despite the hater Jay who wants to shoot down any improvement on the show and then gets mad when someone calls him out for beign such a hater.

It is really weird to read people’s comments and see the word “hater” 25 times in a 5 sentences or less. People have always disagreed with each other, had more than one opinion or just complained about something but the use of this word has really reached the saturation point in the english language. I graduated in 1986 so maybe I’m just old, but when you say a word that many times it loses it’s intended power or insult and is really kind of comical. Hope this post doesn’t make me someones “hater” have a good day.

I’m kind of disappointed by the GH numbers. The anniversary week was so good, and I was hoping for more of a boost.

BTW, does anyone agree with me that Sabrina looked a lot better BEFORE her “makeover”? She was so pretty before, and now she looks overdone and rather fake, IMO. I hope she returns to her old cute look.

/excited to see GH did well this week, I was hoping it would! 50th anniversary is a big deal! I told all my facebook friends to watch, LOL. Anyway, the GH anniversary episode was a nice tribute to Dr. Hardy, and we got Audrey, Alan, Emily and Rick Weber back for the day! VERY disappointed at what was done to Jax&Brenda, however, I’ll bet a few of their fans are done watching for GOOD. Also Frisco&Felicia fans (they’re my favorite of all time!) .. it was wonderful to see Jack Wagner sing “All I Need” but the following week Felicia threw him over for Mac and Frisco left town. Still watching for Luke&Laura, but the excitement is gone for me now. :(

Positive numbers are all I am worried about. Keep fighting the good fight GH! The week was FANTASTIC!!!

    Hey David,
You do know that ABC HAS NOT PICKED UP GH FOR ANOTHER YEAR???? You might be interested in knowing that ABC is the only network that does a year by year renewal! Does not sound like they are to keen on GH….Maybe they see what everyone else sees and that is them CONSTANTLY being in 3 out of 4 soaps!!!!Despite their big old 50th Anniversary and Nurses Ball!!!!
