OXYGEN KICKS OFF “BAD GIRLS ALL STAR BATTLE” WITH A SUPERSIZED 90-MINUTE PREMIERE ON TUESDAY, MAY 21 AT 9PM ET/PT
Hosted by Ray J, Series To Feature 14 Of The Most Memorable Girls in “Bad Girl” History
NEW YORK– April 15, 2013 – Oxygen Media reveals 14 of the most memorable girls in “Bad Girls Club” history, all squaring off in a series of outrageous physical and brain teasing challenges on “Bad Girls All Star Battle” beginning Tuesday, May 21 at 9PM ET/PT with a supersized 90-minute premiere. Hosted by actor, musician, and heartthrob Ray J, these fan favorites will put it all on the line in a drama-filled hard-core competition for $100,000 and the title of “Baddest Bad Girl of All Time.” Beginning Tuesday, May 28, the series will move to its regular time of 8 PM ET/PT. For more information, visit www.oxygen.com and follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/OxygenPR.
In the season premiere, host Ray J (@RayJ) welcomes fan-favorite bad girls from past seasons into the mansion and onto the playing field for their first individual competition. Split into two teams, these unforgettable femmes will face off in a Captains Challenge, “Back Off Bad Girl,” where the girls will complete gladiator style on a floating dock armed with battle guards. The last one standing from each team will be named captain and receive protection from elimination. Later on in the first Team Challenge of the season, “Bad Girls Boot Camp,” the ladies’ skills at working together will be put to the test while racing through an All-Star obstacle course — over The Weave Wall, through a swamp in the Caboodle Carry, past the Web of Lies and into a muddy Bar Crawl to the final puzzle. While the losing team nominates two players from their crew to go up for elimination, the winners of the Team Challenge will get immunity, a night out at the club, and vote on which player to boot. Will these notorious ”Bad Girls” be able to work together as a team — or will they let their egos get the best of them?
Fans can access exclusive content, root for their favorite “Bad Girls” with shareable trading cards and join the conversation on the show’s social accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. Fans can also tweet or read about the series using #BadGirlsAllStarBattle hashtag on Twitter.
Meet the cast:
Host – Ray J @RayJ
Singer, songwriter, actor, entrepreneur, host and reality TV star, Ray J has parlayed his daring and often controversial profile into a successful career and positioned himself as a contemporary renaissance man. Ray J’s multiple albums Ev’rything You Want(Elektra), This Ain’t a Game (Atlantic), Raydiation (Knockout Entertainment) and All I Feel (Knockout Entertainment) have sold millions of copies and produced a string of stirring chart-topping hits including “Sexy Can I” and “One Wish.” His hit reality TV show, “For The Love Of Ray J,” which he served as co-creator and executive producer, spawned another hit VH1 series starring the entire Norwood clan, “Brandy And Ray J: A Family Business,” which he created and executive produced. He began acting at the age of 12 after nabbing a role on “Sinbad.” His acting chops can also be seen on “The Rickey Smiley Show,” “Moesha,” “One on One” and in numerous independent films.
Amber (Season 3) @ambermeade
Raised in a religious family in a small town in Minnesota, Amber decided to take Oakland Raider’s football owner Al Davis’ approach to life — “Just win, baby.” Don’t let this bombshell blonde, with her goofy attitude and sweet disposition fool you, she will do whatever it takes to win. She will cheat, lie, and steal to win and won’t hesitate to crush anyone who gets in her way, especially when there is one hundred grand on the line. While others are here for the battle, Amber is here to win the war.
Danni (Season 8 – Las Vegas) @IamDanniV
With 150 pairs of high-heels, this barely 5-foot tall sharp-tongued girl doesn’t wear sneakers unless she’s “pretending” to go to the gym. However, it’s all about competition for Danni and she has her sights on the 100K so she and her twin sister Gabi can move out on their own and find their independence.
Erika (Season 9 – Mexico) @LucciVee
Erika is a quick-witted, Chicago-based rapper with a reputation for “heating and frying” her opponents when she verbally outwits and insults them. This mischievous, boyfriend-stealer refuses to lose. In fact she rarely plays fair and will happily cheat to do whatever it takes in order to win. After a much heated encounter during the reunion show, Erika will meet face-to-face once again with her nemesis Julie. She is hoping to get her hands on the grand prize so she can fast-track her music career.
Gabi (Season 8 – Las Vegas) @IamGabiVictor
Bossy, funny and overbearing, Gabi has opinions about everything, especially when it comes to her twin, “Bad Girl” Dani. Known as
‘the spoiled twin,’ this strong competitor with a snappy attitude is ready to prove, especially to her twin sister, that she has what it takes to be “Baddest Bad Girl of All Time.” If she wins, she hopes to help her parents out and open a Doggie Day Care.
Flo (Season 4 – Los Angeles) @FloBGC
Staten Island, NY
With her tough talking, “born to be bad” style, this bisexual party girl refuses to be the Albanian Muslim ideal of a passive, obedient female her family would hope for. Flo always encourages women to stand up for themselves and is prepared to fight for the underdog at the drop of a hat. Her constant mothering and judgmental behavior rubbed fellow “Bad Girl” Natalie the wrong way in season four, but this on-again-off again friendship will be put to the ultimate test during the battle. Flo has her eyes on the prize, and knows the money will help her provide stability to her 18-month-old daughter.
Jenniffer (Season 10 – Atlanta) @SaluteMeImJenn
San Bernadino, CA
From exotic dancing to juggling men, Jenniffer isn’t one for following rules and refuses to settle for an ordinary lifestyle. Although she prefers to talk it out, she admits that if you cross her, she can go for zero to 120 in 3.5 seconds. She doesn’t always see eye to eye with her former roommate Rocky since their notorious fight over a hot pocket. But she is willing to put everything on the line, to save her brother from foster care and prove to the courts that she can support her family.
Judi (Season 7 – New Orleans) @JUDiJAiKRAZi
Lake Charles, LA
Judi is a highly aggressive competitor with a trick up her sleeve and hopes her voodoo spell on the ladies will keep her in the game till the end. Always emotional, she will undoubtedly be the first to be brought to tears after losing a competition. After all, she is an only child and is used to being the center of attention. This “Creole Star” hopes being in the Battle will make her mom proud and prove to her that she’s has what it takes to win. With the money, Judi would be able to pay back her loans to finish her last year of college.
Julie (Season 9 – Mexico) @JulieOfcharsky
Julie claims she’s like a kitten, “cute and lovable, but if you piss me off, I’ll claw your eyes out.” A former drama geek who left her awkward “fugly” phase behind, Julie showed her self-esteem and arrogance in Mexico as the ultimate schemer of the house. She is coming into the Battle with a strategy and plans to outsmart all the other girls with her wits. With her eye on the prize, she hopes to use the cash to give back and help her parents.
Mehgan (Season 9 – Mexico) @mehganjames
Known as a self-proclaimed “nudist at heart,” Mehgan from Season 9 is a sassy bougie girl who must look her best at all times. It can’t be forgotten that this bright girl graduated from high school a year early, but she also isn’t afraid to speak her mind, especially with 100K at stake and an opportunity to pay off her school loans.
Natalie (Season 4 – Los Angeles) @missnatalienunn
Bay Area, CA
Natalie made a name for herself in Season 4 with her “I run LA socialite” persona. Entering the house with the baddest of the bad, she is not about to allow any of these ‘Bad Girls’ to run all over her or try to dominate her game. Now an international socialite, she’s not in the competition for the money; she is in it to show these girls who’s the boss.
Paula (Season 10 – Atlanta) @TheHellonHeels
This hotheaded, opinionated Bad Girl from Season 10 may only be 5-feet tall, but she’s packed with a punch. Paula has a degree in political science so she is often the voice of reason in the house, especially when her feisty attitude isn’t in charge. During the Battle, she’ll be face-to-face again with her nemesis and former roommate Shannon. Ready to go the distance, Paula is fighting for the 100K so she can pay off her student loans and give back to her mom.
Rocky (Season 10 – Atlanta) @prettygrl_rocky
Pine Grove, CA
From a small town in California to the big city of Atlanta, Rocky made her mark in the mansion, after joining the house mid-season. She knows the power of a pretty face after being crowned homecoming queen in high school and winning several modeling competitions. She isn’t afraid of causing controversy with anyone who tries to get in her way. This competitive tomboy hopes to win the competition so she can give back to her mom and start a charity to combat bullying.
Shannon (Season 10 – Atlanta) @sarich_shannon
With an entrepreneurial outlook and a get ‘r done attitude, Shannon knows she can handle any “Bad Girl” who dares to cross her. A true mastermind and manipulator, she demands to be taken care of with the finer things in life and has been showered with diamonds, extravagant vehicles and plastic surgery. Known in ATL for making enemies, in the Battle she will be face-to-face with fellow “Bad Girl” Paula, who she despises most. If she wins, she wants to put the money towards her Anti-bullying campaign.
Stasi (Season 7 – New Orleans) @StasiQuinn
After running the house in New Orleans, Stasi proved she was no longer the shy girl. She believes being a bad girl is 24-7 and lives this mantra to the fullest. Stasi has no problem checking girls when needed and plans to rule the Battle with an iron fist BUT only if needed. She hopes to win the cash and set up a foundation for “Bad Girls” alumni to share their backstories and inspire victims of abuse and bullying to stand strong and to not result to violence.
“Bad Girls Club All Star Battle” is produced by Bunim/Murray Productions with Jonathan Murray, Gil Goldschein and Rick de Oliveira serving as executive producers and Sam Berns, Zach Kozeck and Erin Cristall as co-executive producers.
