Revolution April 1

It's the battle of the formerly red hot Monday night dramas whose ratings have fallen to earth. At the beginning of their respective seasons, both Revolution and The Following scored above 3.0 in adults 18-49. For the past two weeks both shows have tied with a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating. Will this trend continue or will one show battle its way to victory? Make your predictions then discuss what Joe Carroll would do if he found himself in a dystopian future without electrical power.

At the beginning I really loved the following but right now I can’t even watch a whole episode. If it keeps like that I think it will last only a second season. But beside that I think both shows will tie as ever until April 29th (my birthday!) when The Following will have more rating

Seems a bit of a mute comparison.
They are on at different times, plus Revolution gains from the Voice while The Following competes directly against it (Voice).

A pretty meaningless poll for all purposes other than TVBTN page views.

The following will probably win since it’s on earlier. Both of these shows are so bad I can’t root for one of them.

The Following. But by a tenth or so, nothing major

I hope “The Following” beaths “Revolution” but I think the opposite will happen.

Actually, I’m surprised this poll wasn’t done earlier.

2 crappy shows, both of them likely to be cancelled next season, this one they saved thanks to strong starts.

These are at different times lol whats the big deal ? regardless i watch both and i find revolution a slightly more interesting :)

  • Psychic

They’re both awful, but Revolution is worse.

I think TF will beat Revolution because it is better acted. Both are kind of stupid shows but then there is Charles Manson and his followers who manage to put their leader in the headlines 40+ years after his capture. The human body runs on electricity, although minute, it is essential for life. If the same reason why the electricity went out should have kill every human around-no execption!

    How I Met Your Mother-2.8
    Rules of Engagement-2.2

    Mike & Molly-2.5
    Hawaii Five-0-2.0

    The Following-2.3

    The Voice-4.9

As NBC always does with good scripted shows, they take large breaks which kills the show, as is with Revolution. It’s a good show and I don’t agree that The Voice has anything to do with its current ratings as I believe that The Voice has mainly female viewers while Revolution has mainly males. The Following, on the other hand has a mixture of both due to fans of Kevin Bacon fans. Example: My wife and daughter both watch The Voice, which I can’t stand. My wife began watching Revolution with me last fall but quickly lost interest. She has watched The Following until recently because of the Kevin Bacon factor but has now stopped watching it because ‘it got too weird’ for her…

Both shows are great!!! Looking forward to Defiance tonight too.

I honestly love both shows and hope they both continue to be successful.

man they really made it hard for revolution to improve its ratings. i mean they kept it off the air for so damn long and then brought it back when other tv shows are having their finales so not only has it been so long that people have forgotten most the storyline but they also have to try and compete with season finales. i seriously hope revolution doesnt get cancelled by this :( at least if its renewed then next year itll have a chance to make rating based on how good the show is rather than on how bad a decision the network can make.

They aren’t even on at the same time tonight….a better battle would be Castle/H5O/Revolution…who will win???

    The Following will beat Revolution

“At the beginning of their respective seasons, both Revolution and The Following scored above 3.0 in adults 18-49. For the past two weeks both shows have tied with a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating.” – Explains the poll, those who are saying it’s pointless just felt like making a pointless comment. I predict The Following will come out slightly higher (2.2/2.1)
