During the week of April 1, 2013, “Katie” finished as the No. 1 new syndicated talker in Households (1.7 rating), Total Viewers (2.127 million) and Women 25-54 (0.9 rating – tie).


  • “Katie” was up across the board week to week, gaining with Households (+6%), Total Viewers (+4%) and posting double-digit growth across all key Women demographics: W18-34 +33%, W18-49 +20% and W25-54 +13%. In fact “Katie” earned 4-week highs in Homes and Viewers, while equaling its best rating in 2 months with Women 25-54 – since w/o 3/04/13 and w/o 2/4/13, respectively.


  • Ranked among the 18 syndicated talk shows currently on the market, freshman “Katie” places in the top-tier across key measures: Households (No. 6 – 1.8 rating), Total Viewers (No. 6 – 2.401 million) and Women 25-54 (No. 6 – 1.0 rating). Overall “Katie” is TV’s biggest new syndicated talker in 3 years – since “Dr. Oz” in 2009.


“Katie” is executive-produced by Katie Couric and Michael Morrison and is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Co-executive producers are Kathy Samuels, Matt Strauss and Ethan Nelson and the program is directed by Joseph Terry.
