mun2 DRIVES U.S. HISPANIC MILLENIALS IN 2013/2014 WITH DYNAMIC ORIGINAL CABLE PROGRAMMING SLATE
Over 200 Hours of Original Programming Announced at Network's Cable Upfront;
New Series Include Horoscopos de Durango project, ‘Viva Los Vargas,’ ‘Reinas de Realty'; Larrymania, DUB Latino Back in Production
UNIVERSAL CITY, CA – April 16, 2013 – Presenting a new programming line-up tailored for its influential young, Hispanic millenial audience, mun2 General Manager Diana Mogollon revealed a slate of original series featuring dynamic personalities, sports and music at its 2013/2014 cable upfront press conference in New York today. The Hispanic cable network revealed it is producing over 200 hours of original programming, including three new original series: the Hispanic celebrity reality series Horoscopos centered on Regional Mexican music stars Horoscopos de Durango, and two stand-out docu-reality series - Viva Los Vargas featuring Champion Boxer Fernando Vargas and family, and the family business series Reinas de Realty. The network also announced it is now the exclusive Hispanic cable home to the Barclays Premier League this summer, announced two new music properties, Al Tiro con La Bronca and ¡mun2POP!, and is developing a series for Fandango Cine, Movie Crashers.
mun2 has already begun production on two returning series for 2013 - Larrymania, the network’s #1 original series in 2012 starring Latin music star Larry Hernandez, and DUB Latino, the popular Hispanic entertainment and car culture magazine series hosted by Gerardo Ortiz with Magda Angel.

Based in Los Angeles, mun2 produces bicultural, original series whose productions are centered in multiple cities in the U.S. The network will launch original productions centered in Southern California, Las Vegas, Chicago and Miami in 2013 and 2014. The network also acquires and premieres unique, scripted and unscripted series developed in Latin America for U.S. Hispanic audiences.
