What? Once’s series low is a 2.2 if I’m remembering correctly. It could be 2.1 or 2.3 because it tends to adjust upwards in the finals so I might be remembering wrong but 1.4 is far below what the show usually gets.

The Good Wife 10 million viewers.

I would be having heart palpitations (given I love TGW) from flashing back to Harry’s Law last season if CBS hadn’t already removed all suspense. It’s a great total viewers number, of course, but more or less meaningless given that it only translates to a 1.7. One hopes that the sub-demos in that 18-49 include many, many affluent viewers that advertisers can target.

I find it a good sign that that many viewers stuck with “The Menatlist” when it started about 11 on the East Coast and 10 here in the Central Zone.

I am also glad that we don’t have to worry about “The Good Wife” and “The Mentalist” renewals. CBS knew that the overruns by sports programs were the rule on Sundays. I think “The Mentalist” is a good show for the time slot shift although I wish we didn’t have to watch it that late.
