I have no bias. I don’t watch any of the shows in question, but NBC would be really, really smart airing HANNIBAL encores Tuesday. They finally seem to have stability Thursdays at 10, so leave the new episodes there. Another option? See how Parks and Rec fairs behind THE VOICE. Maybe pair that with MJF there next season?

I kinda wish CBS would keep Golden Boy to at least be a summer show–I actually like the show..

  • captainridiculous

I agree with the GOLDEN BOY sentiment… and it’s #’s did come up a little bit from the first round of #’s.

I assume it’s gotta be the most affordable option for CBS to keep around of the shows still waiting in the wings… and it’s done solid and steady numbers the past few weeks. Maybe another smaller episode order for mid-season for their back pocket? A summer-series as suggested above? We’ll see, but I’m rooting for it.

I’m about to start a petition to get rid of Ready for Love. It may not necessarily work for sure, but it doesn’t hurt to try.

  • Dahne

@KyleR – Reading for Love sounds like some horrible shipper fan fiction reality series. Please don’t give NBC any ideas. Shippers are out of control on most shows as it is.

  • Mark3

HOD will get renewed. Ratings r good for cw. They can’t cancel every new shoe too. Except crap arrow of course

  • Ccemerson

Off topic, is CBS experimenting this week for the fall changes ??? Eleamentry is on Wednesday @ 10pm. And a two hour comedy block Thursday bumping POI to 10pm est.

I don’t understand why NBC isn’t doing a “two night event” of Revolution a week or two so it ends in season. Both episodes would follow the Voice and they could promote the hell out of it during The Voice and during the Revolution episode. Ready for Love is just embarrassing, even for NBC!

  • Tony JJ

and NBC may be better off pulling Ready for Love and airing repeats behind the Voice. Even if they got 1.0 compared to RFL’s 1.2 (which I’m sure will keep dropping), repeats of say Hannibal would be more beneficial to NBC than airing this lame reality show that should’ve been a summer show.

  • Chris

Put Celebrity Apprentice behind Voice. Or Parks and Rec.

  • Ashley

The Voice doesn’t have any competition on Tuesdays. Not surprised it did well. NCIS repeat tying DWTS is sad.

I am not the first . . . but there is no point in airing Ready For Love anywhere but saturday or any other available ratings siberia after pulling that rating last night. They could put that sitcom they have on the shelf there next week with no promotion and I am sure it would do better. . . Save me. NBC deserves all its ratings woes if it continues to squander this timeslot even one more week.

  • Brett Heitkam

I saw E! repeated RFL before The Soup last night… After the numbers it got on NBC, I can’t even fathom how low the E! ratings must have been!!!

  • David Howell

At this point NBC could get better retention out of reruns.

If AMC can get a 2.2 out of a 6.0 for a talk show then I’m sure NBC can get a 2.0 out of a post-Voice talk show. X-Factor here in the UK has one that airs on the network’s sister channel ITV2 and it gets 10% of the total audience of the main show, probably more in the demo. With no channel change, I’m sure The Voice could do very nicely with one, leading in to Hannibal at 10.

Or just move Grimm from Fridays already and make that a news magazine night.

  • networkman

Hell’s Kitchen is holding up rather nicely against The Voice. I know FOX has to be really pleased at its decent performance. The show should be midseason option for Tuesday @8pm next season.

  • rgxx

“Ready For Wasting My Time” needs to be cancelled – I see what NBC is trying to do – they made the Voice work as the new American idol – and now they are trying to capture the same as ABC has with “The Bachelor”
“Ready For 2 Hours of Boring TV” needs to be cancelled. And with it The Bachelor & Bachelorette can go too! – Really? This is how woman want to be treated?!?

NBC – put up drama or comedies or at least speicals – or for crying out loud, would someone please bring back the “Movie of The Week”

  • rgxx

    Go Gordan Ramsey! UP!!

  • TV Viewer

Maybe NBC and E! can combine “Ready for Love” and “Burning Love”, and name it: “Ready for Burning Love” and treat it like the comedy joke, punchline show it’s turned into.

  • OldEagle

Ready for Love is a very poor attempt to cash in on the Bachelor. Dump it or get decent continuity. It wanders all over the place.

  • MichaelChickless

@TV Viewer “Maybe NBC and E! can combine “Ready for Love” and “Burning Love”, and name it: “Ready for Burning Love” and treat it like the comedy joke, punchline show it’s turned into.”

Or maybe also have a Vampire Diaries tie-in and call it “Ready For A Burning VD.”
