In other news, the backlash from with the NRA has begun:

Adolphus Busch, heir to the Busch family brewing fortune, resigned his position on the board of the National Rifle Association on Thursday, writing in a letter to NRA President David Keene, “I fail to see how the NRA can disregard the overwhelming will of its members who see background checks as reasonable.”

The left sounds a little defensive and angry tonight.

@Papa: >>> My hunch is the bombers are long gone <<<

I'm afraid that your hunch may be right. Even if these were home-grown terrorists, some people who sympathize or who even take part in similar acts of destruction of lives and properties, may be able to successfully get this bomber or bombers overseas rather quickly.

I hope your hunch is wrong, but I'm afraid it is highly likely.

The Daily Show” host John Stewart used the opening six minutes of Wednesday night’s broadcast to blast CNN for misreporting that an arrest had been made in connection to the bombings at the Boston Marathon.

CNN “exclusively” broke the story that an arrest had been made. It used unidentified sources and never released a name of a suspect.

USA8888 Doug–I think I may be able to get into pre-school and get you writing at a 2nd greade level…..

I guess that doesn’t cover spelling in the 2nd grade or you didn’t get to the 2nd grade yet USA8888 which is it ?

I don’t blame anyone at this point. I think these guys were part of a well organized plot. If there is blame to go around that is for another day.

Think about it. While law enforcement was gathering information co-conspirators could have gotten them out of the country and on planes. They may get caught but I think they were foreign nationals and they had their escape route well planned. The leader of Al Qaeda, Zawaheri is a much different leader than Bin Laden. Much more clever.

If you like getting blow up and a bad economy, Stock down, Obama love that.

Obama has had a great week—he is doing what 90% of the American people want and what common sense dictates.

@Papa: I don’t blame anyone in particular at this point. But, our worst fear in this attack is the suspects fleeing our nation. Probably would end up in Pakistan where, while they will gladly accept billions of dollars from us, won’t let on that terrorists are in hiding with them. (see bin Laden)

  • Ralph Hahn

@Chriscee: I Googled it and found it right away after I saw your post.

Nice job in reporting it in a timely fashion. :)

  • Ralph Hahn

@Chriscee: If I had seen it on the AP, I wouldn’t have believed it anyway. lol

  • CNN WTF

For those wondering why the 11pm hour for CNN was so high… It wasn’t Erin Burnett – she was prempted by Piers handling the breaking news of the West, TX fertilizer explosion. She does come across as a stuck-up prep school girl, they weren’t going to let her anchor such an event.

  • TheBoss1

You right-wing wackos have been writing the epitaphs for MSNBC for HOW MANY YEARS now? LMAO.

You nuts create your own realities. You live in your own bubbles. You believe what you want to believe. You are monomaniacs.

Remember when Obama had NO CHANCE to win re-election? Remember when every single day certain people on here would post Rasmussen polls as the ONLY objective and honest poll? Remember when every single day certain people on here would complain how EVERY other poll oversampled Democrats? Remember when every single day certain people on here cited Karl Rove and Dick Morris religiously as the arbiters of truth? Remember when Karl Rove, on election night, went nuts when Fox News called Ohio for Obama and the news host walked down the hall to upbraid those who made the call?

You righties wouldn’t know truth if it hit you squarely in the jaws.

  • usa8888

FYI–the “fake Mohammed” is a bubba from the red states….

  • usa8888

The right wing old woman Chriscee is most likely a member of the Birch Society and is likely uncomfortable in the liberal Colorado. She espouses the idiocy of right wing ideology. The good news is that Obama is President as a result of people like her whom the American people have rejected…..

    @WRONG! Can’t fix SNAF ………..Okay child, It’s like arguing with a retard!

I would tell you what to search so you could get the truth, but you wouldn’t believe it…..yay whatever!

WASHINGTON — Senate Democrats passed a landmark health care bill in a climactic Christmas Eve vote that could define President Barack Obama’s legacy and usher in near-universal medical coverage for the first time in U.S. history.

The 60-39 vote on a cold winter morning capped months of arduous negotiations and 24 days of floor debate. It also followed a succession of failures by past congresses to get to this point.

Joe Biden, who as vice president also serves as president of the Senate, presided as 58 Democrats and two independents voted “yes.” Republicans unanimously voted “no.”

    You miss something…
