UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. — April 19, 2013 — NBC is moving its drama “Grimm” to Tuesdays (10-11 p.m. ET) beginning April 30, behind a previously scheduled two-hour episode of “The Voice.” “Grimm” will remain in that 10 p.m. Tuesday timeslot through May 21.

“Dateline” will replace “Grimm” at 9 p.m. Fridays, beginning April 26.

It has not yet been determined when or where remaining episodes of “Ready for Love” will be aired.

Wow I’m actually very surprised! Smart move though NBC

  • Jeff (Canada)

Hmmm. I like it! My Tuesdays are usually bare anyways.

But this begs the question, what will be there in the fall, Grimm or Parenthood?

  • John A

Grimm didnt need this. It has its set audience. Hannibal. But nice to see NBC treat Grimm well.

  • Stuart

I think they should put Grimm at 9 and Hannibal at 10 on Tuesday. Then if that works move Parenthood to stabilize Thursday at 10 or Wednesday at 8.

  • RyanCanada

i wonder what kind of boast The Voice Grimm will get, its already averages 1.5-1.9 so maybe it will recieve a 2.4?

  • AA

Wow NBC just asks for a failure network.

Grimm is doing so GOOD on Fridays. No one is going to watch it during the weekday – its one of those shows that do well on fridays.

  • John A

Sorry meant to say Hannibal needed this more.

  • Chicago Fire: SVU

Wow!! Now I have something to watch on Tuesdays!!! So no episode on this Tues, if so, I really expected at least one more week of Ready to Love then a pull, they let SMASH and The New Normal drop to a 0.7 without the immediate yank off the schedule

I like Grimm on Friday ugh I hate when they do this cr*p !!

  • Michael

Lol, wow I didn’t expect this to happen so quickly.

  • omabin

It is better than nothing. But Grimm at 9 and Hannibal at 10 would make more sense, Dateline or SVU repeats could air Thursdays at 10. Still, it was too much to expect from NBC. I hope Grimm does well!

  • s0303

bad decision…i love grimm, but it’s doing fine on friday and hannibal is on the bubble and needed this timeslot…

  • cc

Has nbc finally gotten a clue?

  • Michael

The Voice should be 3 hours long! I hate that we can’t see all the battle performances in its entirety during the Knockout rounds.

  • CrimTV

We should see a low-mid 2.0 rating if The Voice could boost TNN so much from a 0.9 to a 1.7

  • American

Wow, I had no idea NBC would do something half intelligent so soon! Good job, and keep it up!

  • Kyle R

Maybe they’ll move Hannibal there when Grimm finishes up. Both Hannibal and The Voice go into June, right? If Hannibal is renewed, that could ensure that the June episodes don’t get as terrible ratings as they’re going to airing at 10 on thursdays by themselves in the summer.

  • CrimTV

Also, why are you guys suggesting they put Hannibal (which probably has a short life-span even if it’s renewed) after The Voice, when Grimm will last longer and they might as well boost the audience if they want longevity! Good on NBC!
