Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    Well low 2s is now the new normal for OUAT, such a shame it has weakened

  • heba

    ouat is still one of abcs highist dramas

  • Alex

    @forg
    OK I guess for the Hallmark of Hall Fame, still better than ABC will get with repeats

    And originals.

    By my count the last original episode of Revenge had a 1.5 and the last original episode of Red Widow had a 1.0. So a 1.4 is an improvement on the 9-11 average and only just down on Revenge at 9PM.

  • Ron

    First off I want to say I love CBS but is it possible TGW ratings from last week were because of the people tuning in for the Mentalist?

  • Rod

    The Good Wife always does better at 10pm.

  • JJA

    The schedule hurt Once Upon a Time?? Seriously? OUAT “jumped the shark.” Its season 2 plot is awful.

    By the way, the same can be said of Revenge.

  • SarahL

    I think OUAT has had a strong second season, but people tuning out in droves.

  • Simon

    @SJ
    It TIDE the series low, not a new one.

  • Ann

    I think OUAT is just at it’s normal range now. That seems to be it’s core audience, and imo, it will never get to where it was the first season. It is still a good show, imo, and I liked last night’s episode, thought it was one of the best in awhile, but I just think too many people were turned off by the constant breaks and also the inconsistent writing this year.

  • JONNYSBRO

    That must be a typo for celebrity apprentice. Honestly I feel they should move celebrity apprentice to summer viewing it just has bombed this season maybe because we have seen these celebs before. It probably would have done better with a new cast.

  • heba

    i think that ouat will stay in the low 2s for the rest of the season and will be back in the 2.7-3.3 range next season and revenge will probably be in the 1.8-2.1 range for the rest of the season and if season 3 is better however then it will be maybe rise in the 2.0-2.3 range next season

  • BigFlop

    @Charmed
    abc showrunners should know that their shows are on “the Shonda Rhimes network”.
    Motive’s producers, are you sure on Abc?

    good for TAR!

  • Seth

    Go Remember Sunday! The little movie that could!

  • Alex

    @SJ
    What’s the point of HHOF movies? CBS cancelled them for a reason.

    Perhaps but that 1.4 is an improvement on what Revenge and Red Widow averaged across the same two hour period last time they aired originals.

  • a p garcia

    ABC has one of the best lineups on TV. The bad part is that they are on haitus 1/2 the time which results in a lost audience. To make things doubly worse, is that ABC’s regular lineup are mainly episodic series.

  • forg

    The Amazing Race continues to be CBS’ Sunday MVP. This and Survivor will last for years ;) Like both so no complaining here

  • bluejays

    OUAT will still get renewed. Lets be honest with recent ratings of most things not called NCIS or The Voice, those numbers aren’t too bad.

  • eridapo

    Halves per Marc Berman

    AFV 1.3 5.96/ 1.4 6.51
    OUAT 2.2 7.42/ 2.0 7.13

    60 Min 1.6 10.62/ 2.2 12.62
    TAR 2.4 9.24/ 2.4 8.87
    TGW 1.6 8.92 / 1.4 8.85
    MENTALIST 1.6 9.05 / 1.6 8.81

    Apprent 1.6 5.0 1.5 4.75 /1.6 4.92 1.6 4.94

  • Clarke

    Remember Sunday was an enjoyable HHOF movie. Much better that the last one, The Makeover which was shockingly boring and unfunny. A 1.4 isn’t great but I think ABC is happy with those numbers.

    I am kind of shocked at how consistently low OUAT’s ratings are this season. I’ve personally really liked season 2, but since the show has no big “theme” this season I think of lot of people tuned out.

  • A true tv fan since 1986

    I want The Amazing Race to be put on another time slot! It’s killing OUAT! CBS made a dumb decision putting it on Sundays. The Amazing Race should be back on Tuesdays instead of Sundays. Very stupid move CBS! :-(
