Please pardon the expression, some someone with three letters in his name has a real hardon for me, doesn’t he?

  • Mark2

Last week’s Broadcast numbers were just released:

NBC Nightly News = 9.834 million

ABC World News = 8.488 million

CBS Evening News = 7.281 million

    From the Huffington Post

Obama Budget Plan Results In ‘Back Door’ Tax Increase For Middle-Class Households

COORECTION: Please pardon the expression, but someone with three letters in his name has a real hardon for me, doesn’t he? I’m not sure if it is disdain or infatuation? He only posts negatives about ME. Maybe he once propositioned me and I kicked him in the nutz. LOL

  • Chriscee

    lol @ Ralph…..apparently so…

@ Mark – get a grip…you cannot compare broadcast news ratings to cable…not every household in the United States has cable.

  • Chriscee

@ Ralph….no worries..he doesn’t like me either. but Oh well….I’m not going to lose any sleep over him.

Clearly he cannot think for himself because 3 letters and 4 numbers only posts the same old TIRED boring rhetoric from Thinkprogress and moveon.org

    BORING!!

  • Mike

@ Joe, while Democrats have, obviously, won the White House in the last two elections, Republicans win more elections nationally, e.g., House of Representatives, governorships, and state legislatures. And, given the fact that BO could not get the Senate to pass any gun control legislation last week speaks volumes as to his abilty (or I should say ‘inability’) to govern and lead during the remainder of his term. I know – let’s not trouble ourselves with the facts. The reality is that we are a more evenly divided country than the Left will recognize or admit. Frankly, BO has become the quickest ‘lame duck’ president in history. For example, on the gun control, instead of truly looking for a negotiated outcome in which both sides get something, he went for the whole thing by insisting on ‘unanimous consent’ on the part of the Senate instead of a straight ‘up and down’ vote. The problem is that had he gone with the straight ‘up and down’ vote, issues such as universal acceptance of consealed-carry law, an amendment to protect gun ownership, restricting large capacity magazines, and banning certain semi-automatic rifles would have gone in favor of the Republicans. I can understand why BO had a temper tantrum following the vote – he’s not used to having to negotiate. (His behavior was, frankly, the least presidential we’ve seen from a president.) He will always be a ‘politician’ vs. being a leader. His hope to reclaim the House is not going to materialize (history is against him) and he stands a more than 50/50 chance of losing the Senate in 2014.

It’s going to take a while for MSNBC to recover(if they can ever) from last week’s jumping of the shark meme by all of their hosts that ‘evil Christian white men from the Tea Party waving Gadsen flags and NRA membership cards’

Not even Communist media like Pravda were ever that stupid and myopic as Tingles, O’Donnel, and Rachel Madcow.

Perhaps MSNBC should bring manic-depressive Keith Olbermann back to save them?

  • Stan T.

Bob Woodward is a good example of the left’s lack of intelligence….he kept calling the Boston bombing an “event”….he said it more than once…he said the Bostom bombing event, as if it were equivalent to going to a baseball game…

  • Chriscee

    @ Jim

I don’t think even at this point Keith Olbermann could save msnBS.

I don’t get what the higher brass at msnBS is thinking to allow Chris Matthews to stay on the air…other than his contract. lol

Oh by the way liberals….Where is ED SCHULTZ?

  • DC

Erin’s numbers (along with rest of CNN primetime) will shrink in the days ahead, but I don’t think they’ll ever return to the levels of mid-winter. She appears to be building (and growing) a solid base in the 25-54 demo that, if you are MSNBC, is something to be worried about. And she also seems to be giving AC a (much needed) boost…

  • Dreamer

    Trent,
“As I said before, the overwhelming majority of young people (like me) don’t give a rats azz what you seniors think. Y’all are on your way out. The future belongs to us (the young).”

If you live to be a ripe old age of fifty or more, maybe the young will treat you with as much respect as you treat others that are older than you.

  • Chriscee

@Dreamer….on day my dear….YOU too will be Senior….and YOUR views will change dramatically. You cannot stop the aging process….remember that.

Under what rock have you been living? I recently had dinner with a number of Wagner College students. They didn’t know anything about Obama policies. Some new health care and that is it. They all voted for Obama. When I told them some of things Obama advocates they thought I was lying.

  • Derek

Piers Morgan is the clear weak spot in CNN’s “Breaking News” line-up. Though, Zuckern will probably keep him around for a while.

  • Sicilian Papa

    Trent

Go around and ask college students how a bill gets passed. I learned this as a child watching grammar rock. “I’m just a bill and I’m sitting here on Capital Hill.” I also relearned the process in 7th grade civics class. Geez, we are in trouble if college students don’t know how a bill is passed.

  • Stan T.

gee, I haven’t seen a single leftie attack AP for lying…AP announced that the White House had been bombed and Obama had been injured….after the stock market dropped 300 points, “it was on our twitter feed, but we didn’t say it”…uh huh…

  • Matthew

Bob Woodward is a good example of the left’s lack of intelligence….he kept calling the Boston bombing an “event”….he said it more than once…he said the Bostom bombing event, as if it were equivalent to going to a baseball game…

    event noun \i-?vent\

    2
    a : something that happens : occurrence
    b : a noteworthy happening

e.g.: “That thoughtful Stan T. post was quite the event.”

…because their Twitter feed was hacked?

  • RealityChick

    @Trent

Ok Trent…let’s pretend. You have a really big problem in your life. Something that could potentially alter how you live, change you forever…who do you ask for advice? Your immature buddies with the same experience as you have, not much…or do you go to some one older and wiser who has lived through many crisis in their lives. ANother question, you need to borrow money, you can’t get a loan, who do you ask? YOur frat bros, they’re just as broke as you are, no you’ll go to your parents, the old folks. Why? Because they were smart and saved and worked hard and tried to make something of themselves, probably because their parents taught them to do so. SO next time you put down “old people” and say we don’t matter just remember, you will be old, too and I hope the next generation will have a little more respect for you than you do for us.

  • Sicilian Papa

Oh no, you are wrong. When given good information from older people young people sometimes will change their minds. I reached a few of those college students. I asked them to look up the 57 States comment by Obama. They asked me why they had never heard about this before. I told them about the corrupt, secular, left wing, so-called objective media and even the ones that still disagreed with me took notice.
