    @Jeff
Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, & Mark Hamill are going to be in the up-coming Star Wars Movie (They have been signed)

And it’s being widely talked about now that the script JJ Abrams has read for it is said to be the best of the now soon to be seven movies. Might have something to do with Darth Vader’s apprentice. Should be good.

Problem is I am old now and I don’t think God allows movie screens on the clouds cause it could possibly mess up his rainbows :-)

  • Cheryl Lynn

How can anyone watch that odd little fellow, Chris Hayes and say, “hey, I have an idea, let’s give him his own show.” After the fascination of watching him in wonder for about 5 minutes, his awkwardness started to make me uncomfortable & squirm for his….attempt. Let me also say, I doubt if he will go to ESPN when his numbers flatline for MSNBC. Not exactly a man’s man there is he?

Liars and arrogant, irresponsible, financial idiots!! That is websters definition for the Obama administration

Obama Administration Had Advance Warning On Electric Car Failure

WASHINGTON (AP) — Newly released documents show that the Obama administration was warned as early as 2010 that electric car maker Fisker Automotive Inc. was not meeting milestones set up for a half-billion dollar government loan, nearly a year before U.S. officials froze the loan after questions were raised about the company’s statements.

An Energy Department official said in a June 2010 email that Fisker’s bid to draw on the federal loan may be jeopardized for failure to meet goals established by the Energy Department.

Despite that warning, Fisker continued to receive money until June 2011

    @Ratboy

    Good Morning

Sunday afternoon into yesterday morning we have 5 more inches of GLOBAL WARMING!! Where is Al Gore???

  • Chriscee

So Big Sis was LYING about the Saudi National.

    Once again….GLENN BECK WAS CORRECT!!

  • Moncon

    @Ratboy
Typical liberal thinking….keep throwing money at it and it will eventually work. Wait, let me correct myself, we’ll keep taking your money, throw it at the problem and eventually it will work.

  • Chriscee

I still say Obama is funding these jerks….Fisker and the likes….Vestas here in Colorado and many more “green” energy companies rather it be car or otherwise…because the money “trickles” down to Obama and democrats in some form.

    I call it money laundering.

BOMBERS, FAMILY ON WELFARE…Tamerlan Tsarnaev got Mass. welfare benefits

Marathon bombings mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev was living on taxpayer-funded state welfare benefits even as he was delving deep into the world of radical anti-American Islamism, the Herald has learned.

  • Doug Z

    We need more imagration, right!

Tamerlan Tsarnaev got Mass. welfare benefits

In addition, both of Tsarnaev’s parents received benefits, and accused brother bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan were recipients through their parents when they were younger, according to the state.

  • Doug Z

Tamerlan Tsarnaev got Mass. welfare benefits

The news raises questions over whether Tsarnaev financed his radicalization on taxpayer money.

  • Doug Z

Tamerlan Tsarnaev got Mass. welfare benefits

The state did not say when the Tsarnaevs began receiving benefits. But Health and Human Services spokesman Alec Loftus said the Tsarnaevs “were not receiving transitional assistance benefits at the time of the incident,” a reference to the marathon bombing that killed three and injured 260.

Loftus declined to specify what kinds of benefits and the amount of benefits the family received.

Their taxpayer-funded status came to light last night after repeated calls and emails to welfare officials from the Herald. They refused to comment throughout the day, but pressure mounted last night when the Herald started asking lawmakers whether the Department of Transitional Assistance should release the information.

    Darn the Tea Party folks!
*Animal Activists Ruin Years of Research in Laboratory Sabotage Mission

Oh? Wait a minute they’re not on the right :-)

By the way Harry Reid set the record straight yesterday

Question: Harry, your comments on the violent tea party?

Harry Reid: Tea Partiers Are Non-Violent ‘Anarchists’ Who Don’t Believe in Any Form of Government

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Tuesday equated the Tea Party to a non-violent “anarchist” group because, in his mind, Tea Partiers don’t believe in any form of government. He was speaking about the sequester and other financial issues on the Senate floor.

“We have a situation where this country has been driven by the Tea Party for the last number of years,” Reid said. “When I was in school, I studied government and I learned about the anarchists. Now, they were different than the Tea Party because they were violent. But they were anarchists because they did not believe in government in any level and they acknowledged it. The Tea Party kind of hides that.”

Reid said Tea Party members don’t do physically destructive things to buildings or people “directly” but they do everything they can to “throw a monkey wrench into any form of government.”

“Anything they can do to throw a monkey wrench into the wheels of government, they are happy to do that,” he added.

(Coming from Harry, I’d consider that a compliment) :-)

    @Chriscee, Ratboy & Doug
Obama Administration Had Advance Warning On Electric Car Failure

If the green energy movement was sincere and not a con job, GEOTHERMAL or GROUND SOURCE HEAT PUMPS. or SOLAR, and WIND, could have been the main source of home energy within a 5 year period. Still could. But Chriscee is right, it’s a money laundering con job.

But Oil does it too still to this day as well. This isn’t about the public interest or saving the planet, it’s about the same thing with Oil, filling the pockets of the Al Gores of the world.

Geothermal is cheap, effective and can be installed just about anywhere in the USA or the world as far as that goes. Some of the places I been too on Missions (Cold Areas) have that setup for heat, its fantastic.

Mark Burnett and Roma Downey’s ‘The Bible’ Is Headed for Movie Theaters — and Is There Another Christian TV Series in the Works by them.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, theaters across the globe have already made offers to show the project, which is apparently complete. The release of the film is expected to come in the fall, with the majority of its focus on Christianity’s central figure: Jesus Christ.

Meanwhile, Burnett confirms he’s working on a follow-up to The Bible, which he later estimated could be more than a year from release. “I have scripts in my bag that I just received today for what’s next,” he said. “Clearly we are people of faith, so it’s not a show to us. And to all those people who rolled our eyes at us three years ago and said, ‘No one is going to watch the Bible on TV,’ we’re glad they were wrong, and we feel blessed.”

He adds: ”It’s going to be a bunch of episodes in the same world because we feel there’s a void and we’re filling that void.”

Burnett also noted that the DVD of the series sold a year’s worth of projected units in just six days

    BBL….

    @ Coffee Steve
We have some homes here with geothermal heat and it really does not work as efficiently as it should due to the winter months. My HVAC guy says that he has replaced many many units with conventional units because they were not effective. The big thing here is the wood boilers but now some of the towns and townships want to put restrictions on where they can be used due to the visual looks and they smoke from the burning. One guy went to the township meeting and said he would remove his if they could tell him the difference between the smoke from his wood boiler and the smoke from his neighbors fireplace with insert………he still has his wood boiler

I’m going to purchase the DVD Set of “The Bible” for my husband. He did record it off the history channel but I think he’d enjoy the DVD much more. He turns 60 in July…I may just hide it til then.

He doesn’t know that yet though…lol

  • Sicilian Papa

    Off to work

    Couple of notes

Fox poll 78% approve of Obama Administration handling of Boston Bombing. If the Bush people did the exact same things the approval would be 40 to 45%. The corrupt, secular, left wing, so-called objective media is a nice poodle to own. I watched CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS over the last week and they did a masterful job in their role as the propaganda wing of the progressive movement. The cover up was superb!

Also saw this on Fox and Friends, I always doubt any reporting. The Obama cell phones are now costing the taxpayer 2.2 Billion a year. Don’t give me that phony argument that MSNBC puts out lefties. The original program started by Reagen was a land line program for poor folks. The Obama phone started in 2008 as a 850 million dollar program, Disgraceful!

  • Chriscee

I hope the Benghazi revelations about Hillary (lies just like Bill) Clinton knocks her out of any chances of running for president.

We do NOT need another America hating president.

The following is a description of these programs from the FCC website….

What Benefits are Available Under the Lifeline and Link Up Programs?

Lifeline provides discounts on one basic monthly telephone service (wireline or wireless) for qualified subscribers. These discounts can be up to $10.00 per month, depending on your state. Federal rules prohibit qualifying low-income consumers from receiving more than ONE Lifeline service at the same time. That is, qualifying low-income consumers may receive a Lifeline discount on either a home telephone or wireless telephone service, but may not receive a Lifeline discount on both services at the same time. Lifeline also includes Toll Limitation Service, which enables a telephone subscriber to limit the amount of long distance calls that can be made from a telephone.
Link Up Up provides qualified subscribers with a one-time discount (up to a maximum of $30) off of the initial installation fee for one traditional, wireline telephone service at the primary residence or the activation fee for one wireless telephone. It also allows subscribers to pay the remaining amount they owe on a deferred schedule, interest-free. Federal rules prohibit qualifying low-income consumers from receiving more than ONE Link Up discount at a primary residence. That is, qualifying low-income consumers may receive a Link Up discount on installation or activation charges associated with either a home telephone or wireless telephone service.
Apparently these programs are becoming quite popular.

You can find a company called Safelink Wireless offering welfare recipients a free cell phone and 250 free cell phone minutes a month right here.

You can find a company called Assurance Wireless offering welfare recipients a program that is virtually identical right here.

This is absolutely outrageous, and it is yet another sign that dependence on the government is totally out of control.

    From the Houston Chronicle….

When Comcast acquired NBC Universal earlier this year, an FCC-mandated requirement was that the cable giant offer cheap Internet access to low-income households. Comcast is making good on the mandate through a new program called Internet Essentials.

Families who qualify will be able to sign up for 1.5-Mbps Internet access – the same download speed as AT&T’s basic DSL service – for just $9.95 a month. Customers may also be eligible for a computer that costs just $150 and free Internet training.

Also, a new bill has been introduced in Congress that would give “eligible” households money to help pay for gasoline….

Low-Income Gasoline Assistance Program Act – Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to make grants to states to establish emergency assistance programs to pay eligible households for the purchase of gasoline.
