Of course the biggest welfare recipients of all are the big corporations. The federal government showers billions upon billions of dollars on them every year, and this has got to stop.

The following example comes from an article in the Weekly Standard….

General Electric, one of the largest corporations in America, filed a whopping 57,000-page federal tax return earlier this year but didn’t pay taxes on $14 billion in profits. The return, which was filed electronically, would have been 19 feet high if printed out and stacked.

Can you imagine a 57,000 page federal tax return?

That is absolutely disgusting and it is a perfect example of how corrupt our system has become.

All year long, GE has people pouring over the tax code just looking for any little tax loophole that it can exploit.

GE made $14,000,000,000 in profits, but they paid less taxes to the government than you or I did.

The Blu-Ray version is unbelievably clear. And the added features are amazing on the DVD. The Blu-ray is worth the extra 5-10 bucks. If you have a Blu-ray player that is :-)

    @Rats
Many townships are now going after fireplaces and wood burners and hitting them with a carbon tax fee. You get burned if you use your furnace (My heating bill averaged 60% higher this year alone) Kerosene is outrageously priced, now if you burn wood they will get you too.

And coming soon boys and girls the EPA’s new over usage fee, if your kilowatt usage averages more than some homes of the same size, your going to pay extra.

Of course the guideline average home will be based on a home with Grandma and Grandpa with no kids that use electronics and very little electricity, so those of us with kids and tech devices will pay more to our Uncle Sam.

The government has become so WELFARE crazy. What incentives are there to work these days? Why not just stay home and live off the hard working taxpayer? It would be so simple and so much more easier. Just apply for every single welfare program there is…why not.

In Florida people who work for the SNAP program are required to sign up per day.

And it’s not only Obama, though he’s made it so much easier than ever before…it’s both sides of the political isle. And I’m frankly sick of them all.

  • Chriscee

Can’t burn wood here in Colorado on most days. They wood burning restrictions…and if the wind isn’t blowing in the right direction…they have wood fireplace bans.

In our home we own now…we have a natural gas fire place…though it’s not really cost effective to run it. It’s more for looks and ambiance..than anything. We do run it occasionally.

    tax payers paid for this.

    More imagratiom , right!

Tamerlan Tsarnaev got Mass. welfare benefits

The news raises questions over whether Tsarnaev financed his radicalization on taxpayer money.

    Whoa!
Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, the mother of Boston Marathon bombers Tamerlan and Tzhokhar Tsarnaevso, made these shocking statements on CNN tonight:

“If they are going to kill him. I don’t care. My oldest son is killed, so I don’t care. I don’t care if my youngest son is going to be killed today. I want the world to hear thi

What incentives are there to work these days?

My son had the incentive of Honor. He was laid off from his Hardware job of 10 years, 2 years ago, he was on Un-employment for 3 weeks, then he took a lower paying job at Valvoline. It was full time with some benefits.

He could have took the (at the time) 99 weeks and sit on his butt, but Honor makes a man, and character is earned not given. Pride is gained, not given, and being a true man is having honor and getting the job done yourself instead of taking a handout.

My sons are men of the highest caliber and no man could be prouder than I.

BOMBERS, FAMILY ON WELFARE…Tamerlan Tsarnaev got Mass. welfare benefits

How did they get benefits if Tamerlan’s wife worked?

  • Sicilian Papa

We must take back power from hard core leftists like Pelosi, Sanders and Obama. If we do not defeat the corrupt media we can not prevail. The incompetence of Dem leaders before and I would argue after the terror attack in Boston should have hurt them badly, politically. No, they again come out a winner when they should be a loser.

One final note, I don’t have a cell phone yet because I can not afford it. I was offered an Obama phone but declined. Truth is I don’t even like people to call me at home. Could use one for the company, my business partner has one for the company but another one would be handy. I should have enough money in about a month.

    Say goodbye to buying fireworks

For those that missed Weasel Reid’s latest revelation.

On the floor of the senate, this AM, he said (paraphrasing) this: “Sequester will kill any chances to find the cure for Cancer and Parkinson’s disease”.

The dumbocrats here will be clapping and screaming for joy with this astute revelation by someone who is dumber than Bite Me Biden.

Its looking like the wife and he, were not living together

Harry Reid, Nancy “Save the Planet” Pelosi and Chris Matthews are experiments. They are living proof a human can have no active brain cells and talk

  • dana

IBles:: We dont need cures for cancer anymore…with the looming Obamacare rules, no one will qualify to get the cure anyway…..

Good on your son Coffee. Sounds like he’s a grind off the old pot

The Federal government is laying it on thick. They sent out letters to all the students at my sons’ colleges. If they had student loans or not. Here is a part of the letter:
On August 2, 2011, Congress passed the Budget Control Act of 2011, which put into place automatic federal budget cuts, known as the “sequester.” While this law does not otherwise change the amount or terms or conditions of your Direct Loan, it does increase loan fees on Direct Subsidized and Direct Unsubsidized Loans first disbursed after March 1, 2013. Specifically, the fee on your loan will increase from 1.0 percent of your loan amount to 1.051 percent. For example, the fee on a $5,500 loan will increase by $2.80 from $55.00 to $57.80.

Now, they should tell those getting loans of the change but why mail it to all of the college students.
And just by chance a letter from the democratic party come the same day talking about the sequester being the GOP’s fault.

  • Raz

Okay, that came out a little werid, but you know what I mean
