FOX WINS WEEK AMONG ALL KEY DEMOS

 

“AMERICAN IDOL” WINS 14th CONSECUTIVE WEDNESDAY NIGHT

 

“HELL’S KITCHEN” HEATS UP WITH +11% GROWTH VERSUS LAST WEEK

 

FOX’s week was propelled by strong performances from AMERICAN IDOL, BONES, THE FOLLOWING, HELL’S KITCHEN and GLEE, leading the network to rank No. 1 for the week among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.  On Monday, THE FOLLOWING ranked as the highest-rated drama of the night among Adults 18-49, while BONES and THE FOLLOWING tied as the No. 1 drama of the night among Adults 18-34. On Tuesday, HELL’S KITCHEN grew +11% among Adults 18-49 versus the previous week.  AMERICAN IDOL was up week-to-week on both Wednesday and Thursday’s telecasts and won its fourteenth consecutive Wednesday night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.  Also on Thursday, GLEE led its time period among Adults 18-34 and Teens.

 

For the week, FOX had:

 

·         5 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 3), AMERICAN IDOL- Thu (No. 6), HELL’S KITCHEN (No. 18 tie), GLEE (No. 18 tie), and THE FOLLOWING (No. 18 tie).

 

·         11 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 4), AMERICAN IDOL-Thu (No. 5), GLEE (No. 6 tie), AMERICAN DAD (No. 8 tie), FAMILY GUY ENCORE (No. 8 tie), HELL’S KITCHEN (No. 14), BOB’S BURGERS (No. 15 tie), BONES (No. 15 tie), THE FOLLOWING (No. 15 tie), UFC ON FOX (No. 18 tie) and THE SIMPSONS ENCORE (No. 18 tie).

 

·         7 of the Top 20 programs among Teens: AMERICAN IDOL-Thu (No. 3 tie), FAMILY GUY ENCORE (No. 3 tie), AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 5), BOB’S BURGERS (No. 6 tie), GLEE (No. 6 tie), AMERICAN DAD (No. 8) and THE SIMPSONS ENCORE (No. 9 tie).

 

·         2 of the Top 20 programs among Total Viewers: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 5) and AMERICAN IDOL-Thu (No. 7).
