Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • Oliver

Revolution is flat until it adjusts down in finals due to The Voice overrun…

  • Chuck_T

That’s quite a fall-off for Revolution and it could dip in the finals allowing, perhaps, Castle to win the time period.

  • Ash

    Half numbers?

  • Lex

Revolution probably adjust down since it’s back hour hit 1.9. This show would sink faster if not for the voice.

  • eridapo

    DWTS 2.0 12.60/ 2.1 13.56/ 2.1 14.00/ 2.1 14.17
    Castle 2.3 12.23/ 2.2 11.20

    Voice 4.1 12.59/ 4.9 14.30/ 5.0 14.23 5.1 14.35
    Revolution 2.4 6.92 / 1.9 5.56

    Bones 1.8 6.55/ 2.0 7.18
    The Following 2.4 7.11/ 2.4 6.84

    Oh Sit .4 .925/ .3 .728
    90210 .3 .603/ .3 .582

Wow.. it Seems that Castle will beat Revolution in the Finals, and I don’t expect a downward adjustment in Caslte’s numbers since it grew out of DWTS. I do however see Revolution losing a tenth of a point in the finals..

  • TimsDale4ever

    Oh sh_it for OH SIT!

  • lukas

Woe the following! hahaha – Revolution lol

  • Petar Ivanov

I guess first round of nba playoffs is not that big. Almost all shows are the same like before playoffs.

CBS monday comedies are dead without new big hit there. I think CBS will move TBBT on Monday to save it. Rules look worse than partners now.

  • Dawn

Why is Castle in second behind Revolution? They tied in the 18-49, but beat them in total viewers. That should rate 1st place.

  • Juan

Yay castle if revolution adjusted down it won the hour

  • rob60990

Castle is up not flat. It will beat flop Revolution in the finals. :D

  • Deo

Didn´t Castle get a 2.0 last week? How is 2.2 “flat”?, even if it adjusts down as it may?

  • BH

    The following :D

  • Sean

    GO CASTLE!!

  • jessie

I think Castle’s TNT syndication deal is helping it pick up some new viewers. TNT runs Castle marathons and they are doing well in the cable ratings.

  • amogh

the following is back !!!awesome episode last night.

  • BigFlop

I hope Castle doesn’t beat Rev. I wouldn’t like to dye my hair blue and green.

  • zerg

Revolution with 4.8+ lead in can’t beat Castle :V

  • Billy

    Nice numbers for The Following.

  • chrisss

    @ Dawn

Because the same rating in the 18-49 demo doesn’t mean they got the same amount of viewers in the 18-49 demo…
