2 bad splash is doing so bad; last night for the 1st time the dives were actualy proffesional quality. the useless divers & drama queens are gone now; all the remaining 1s have a chance to win. i hope they keep the show on till the finally.

  • Chrissy

So happy for Body of Proof! :)

  • Jelly86

I believe by next season Dancing With The Stars will be down on both Monday and Tuesday in both viewers and demos.

Fan Excuse Bingo for HOD already?

It only has two episodes left. Unless it does 0.3 and 0.2 (not very likely) I’d say it’s certain renewal. Where it lands on the schedule next season is another thing entirely.

  • Alison

Thank you! George+Zoe are crap and they’re so boring. If you notice last week it was the beginning of George and Zoe and it went down to a 0.5 and this week more of this crap and it’s 0.4,
Wade+Zoe was the best thing for this show and they went and ruined it. I would take Wade+Zoe or Jonah+Zoe any day.

  • John A

I dont see that much fan excuse bingo for HOD. Nikita fans come up with alot more excuses.

@Lance “Goodbye, RFL. You will definitely be remembered … alongside such other legendary TV “greats” as My Mother The Car, Chicken Soup, Me & The Chimp, You’re In The Picture, Cop Rock and (ah, who can forget) Geraldo opening Al Capone’s vault. In other words, your eternal status as a classic and much-sited network flop is assured! So don’t let the screen door hit you on the way out … ”

…you forgot Turn On, which lasted exactly one episode (and some affiliates cancelled that episode in progress!)

  • Anon

I have been saying HoD will not get renewed for months now, but it has nothing to do with the shipper’s laments that creep into these threads. I simply believe that if they renew for 1 year, they renew for 2 years – and there is simply not 2 years left in this show.

Body of Proof is rising throughout the season and now is stable (1.2, 1.2, 1.3, 1.2, 1.5, 1.6, 1.4, 1.4, 1.4, 1.6) I think this factor will ultimately save the show.

If It gets above 1.5 in the next few weeks then I consider it safe. In a season where 4/5 shows flopped and the last new show Nashville is only doing Subpar, Body of Proof in my opinion is 50/50.

  • Dan

@Anon – Hart of Dixie will get renewed (especially over Carrie Diaries and BATB) If a CW show airs 2 full seasons, then its guaranteed for 2 more. Why do you think Nikita was renewed last year. It too will get 1 more full season.

  • Amy

@ Anon If the writing is bad, people stop watching. Romantic storylines are part of HOD. I’m sure they made one character act OOC to prop another because Fake Empire has a history of doing this.

  • Ultima

One thing is for sure, RFL will definitely make the list.

There’s been so many failed reality series that I doubt anyone will think Ready for Love is of any significance in a couple of years.

    It’s certainly no “The One.”

  • Theoacme

@Lance – if people knew then what we know now about Bob Crane, Hogan’s Heroes would have been guaranteed, as someone else put it here, “six (more) seasons and a movie!” (I always wondered what was going on between him and Helga…)

…and we forgot Lone Star (two episodes) as a huge recent example of a flop – to think that’s an hour my family will NEVER get back :'(

And there should be a separate category for the zombie from hell show, the flop that cannot be killed…Jason Garrett hosts this award ceremony – he has to, as it was Til Death that defines this category :p

  • Stop-Colin-Me

Sorry if this offends anyone, but does anyone else hate it when someone substitutes “flop” into TV show names? I understand some like “Ready for Flop”, but then there’s some that make me cringe.

Putting “flop” into TV show titles is kind of old now. Feel free to disagree.

  • Ultima

    The One is already forgotten.

The One was a much, much bigger failure than Ready for Love. Yet somehow you think that people will remember Ready for Love years from now?

You’re being very myopic. It’s not like this is the first time a show with a huge lead-in has bombed.

  • barbara

why aren’t people watching Golden Boy? gtreat story line and characters>

  • Ultima

Here we go again! Well, you can just continue arguing with yourself. The wound is still fresh, I guess.

  • Theoacme

Another flop…Manimal, anyone? Just goes to show that NBC always has had some craziness somewhere in 30 Rockefeller Plaza (and you can’t blame Jeff Zucker for that, either!)…

  • kevin

good for BOP. i think it deserves a 4th season. i agree with Ali. BOP at Thursdays before Greys Anatomy would definetly work

  • Theoacme

@kevin: Death slot for Dana Delany? Maybe, but there’s nothing indicating that it could get a 2.0 at eight…and something new will be tried there first, before BOP gets slotted there…
