No clear evidence yet. I little internet sensationalism. We may never know because of privacy laws. If they used one of those Obama phones to set off the bomb, I hope I never find out, to depressing.

    *NEW NIGHTLY FEATURE*

THE BIGGEST LIE OF THE NIGHT (SO FAR)”

Tonight’s debut is actually two posts from the same individual, winning The Biggest Lie Of The Night (So Far).” Contrary to what the posted ratings numbers above say…we read…

    >>> Fox is tanking, their audience has bailed due to fantasy and hate content.

Key demo and numbers almost back to normal.

Fox down in historic trends, msnbc is gaining. <<>> Fox News ratings have tanked! msnbc must be doing something right to have the right wing kooks obsessing over msnbc content and ratings. <<<

Clearly, HANDS DOWN, The Biggest Lie of the Night (So Far).

Right wing kooks in a panic…….love it!

    @Mark2

Agree, Hayes is smart and likable but I agree he is missing that something.. that kray kray craziness lol Ed and Keith brought that had people tuning in… I think Hayes got pushed into the big times a little too fast though. Before he really built a name for himself. I don’t see him lasting if he numbers continue like that …especially if he is hurting their biggest draw rachel…

  • RealityChick

MSNBC Politics Nation this evening sunk to a new low about the Bush Library gala. All the other news stations were polite, reported the story, and in Al Sharpton’s usual gibberish he managed to sour the moment and spew digs and insults. And people wonder why their ratings are in the toilet? I would love for once some one on the opposite side of their point of view on that channel come right out and say, no one watches you do you know that? Just would love to see the reaction.

    Twinkies Coming back

:-) I’m cheating on my diet for one day when they do.

*Chris Matthews Goes Off on U.S. Foreign Policy: ‘All We Do Is Kill Arabs on International Television…That Might Have Something to Do With Jihad’

He reminds me so much of a giant brainfart

  • Dreamer

People were killed and maimed and they care about whether or not this kid gets his rights read to him over a legal technicality?

    He is a US citizen.

Tingles 92k in key demo. Although that is pretty good for MSNBC.

  • Sicilian Papa

The younger brother is a US citizen, that is true. We also passed a law that gave a 48 hour exception in these cases. If Holder does not like the law, please take it to court. This was his call and he did not want that kid to talk!

I know when Keith left MSNBC, they instructed Matthews to pick up the rhetoric and take over the mantle, that’s just the way it works in broadcasting, but honestly Mike, after all this time and they see its not gaining but slowly losing viewers, you’d figure they would change his gig somewhat and try something new.

  • Sicilian Papa

I watched a Judge explain the law. It was up to Holder to make the call. He did not want the kid to talk! Okay, it is his call to make.

  • Coffee Steve

They can do that with anyone as long as they aren’t charged. They usually always take someone in for questioning before they charge someone and their rights are read. Now if they told him he was under arrest that same evening he was taken in? Maybe a different story.

  • Bobbyv

    Matthew/Dreamer,

IF the FBI was within the law to interrogate without Miranda and were getting valuable info what do you think of Holder stopping that?

  • Sicilian Papa

    Coffee Steve

MSNBC stepped in it by blaming the right for the bombings. If they where right the whole leftist media would be painting all conservatives with a broad brush. They were wrong and they are taking a beating for it.

The purpose was political. The corrupt media wanted to clear the path for the Obama leftist agenda by blaming and discrediting the right.

    Agreed.

I smell another executive order coming soon

    *Exempt Everyone!

Republican senators reject lawmaker exemption from Obamacare

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina issued a terse an disapproving statement

“Obamacare is a train wreck. Congress shouldn’t be able to get out of Obamacare until everyone else does,” he said.

“I voted against imposing the new health-care law on America, but I don’t think Congress ought to be treated any differently than the rest of the country,” said Republican Sen. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee in a statement emailed to The Daily Caller.

  • Matthew

IF the FBI was within the law to interrogate without Miranda and were getting valuable info what do you think of Holder stopping that?

You would be hard-pressed to make the case that he’s not already “in custody,” in which case any information gleaned during this period could prove inadmissible. As for any broader information, investigators still say they believe they’re not tied to any broader group, so what have they accomplished, besides needling out a confession that is now legally useless?

  • Sicilian Papa

    @

    Matthew

The FBI says they where getting valuable information from the guy, why stop? Who gives a d#mn if he confesses. We already have him on tape!

  • Sicilian Papa

Dems, who voted for Obamacare, want to opt out. It just doesn’t get any better than that.

  • Coffee Steve

    @S. Papa & Matthew

The reason usually as you know is if you do not give a defendant their rights, any confession can be thrown out, however in this case they have more than enough evidence to get a conviction even without a confession.

The FBI awhile ago, denied they were notified as the DOJ had suggested, and I know that a formal complaint by the FBI is forthcoming.

In any regard, a 48 hour period in not uncommon to question someone before a formal Miranda is given. Again, we need to know if formal charges were read to him the night he was taken into custody.
