    You would be hard-pressed to make the case that he’s not already “in custody,” in which case any information gleaned during this period could prove inadmissible. As for any broader information, investigators still say they believe they’re not tied to any broader group, so what have they accomplished, besides needling out a confession that is now legally useless?

    I understand that point, that is why I prefaced with the IF. I was going with the assumption all was legal before the questioning was stopped. As for what they were getting from him, I do not know if it was helpful or not. I heard M. Kelly say the FBI was ticked, have not seen the story on if that is true.

    @S. Papa
    Dems, who voted for Obamacare, want to opt out

    The speaker and minority leader both made statements tonight, Thats a problem they (Democrats) created, and they don’t have the votes to change it, but let them fix it, they created it, it’s their problem.

    Basically, they will have to fix it behind a door :-)

    I think that we should change the laws making it “Any terrorist, who commit acts of terror that cause injury or death of American citizens and visitors, will be tried at Gitmo as a War Criminal. This, if we have any proof that American citizens are working with terrorist groups from abroad, should be considered a member or an associate of said foreign terrorist group. If legal, permanent citizens work alone or with fellow American citizens We are in a state of war on terror. This typical liberal way of justice in the U.S., as you all already know, is to coddle the suspect or criminals and Americans lose more of their rights by living in fear.

    By God, if the federal government has ANY function in our lives, is to protect us from foreign combatants.

  • Bsotgnw

    Does Holder want to save lives or get an easy conviction?

    It’s looking obvious, conviction

  • Ralph Hahn

    OOPS~! I’ve deleted a line:

    >>> If legal, permanent citizens work alone or with fellow American citizens, they should be tried as any other American citizens would be.

  • Coffee Steve

    All they had to do was put on a Madonna CD and tell him until he talked the music would play.

    ok, ok, I know that would be REAL torture

  • Mark2

    It’s funny how all these Republicans are now against the Constitution of the United States. Bunch of hypocrites.

  • Jeff

    Yeah cause nobody C/P’s in the comment section. You’re boring! F–k off! ;)

  • Ralph Hahn

    @Coffee: I think a Justin Bieber CD would be the #1 artists in the Torture Music Library. :-)

  • Coffee Steve

    My kids facebook just had an interesting post

    “We are told not to judge all Muslims based on the actions of a few, could we also give the millions of responsible gun owners the same courtesy”

    I agree.

  • Coffee Steve

    @Ralph Hahn
    I think a Justin Bieber CD would be the #1 artists in the Torture Music Library.

  • Jeff

    Bush wiped out a 5.6 trillion dollar surplus in two years. Then the national debt hit 10 trillion on his watch.

    Remember how the Republicans right wing kooks screamed about that?

    Thats because they didn’t!

  • Dreamer

    It’s looking obvious, conviction

    I am sure most would want that.
    My only problem is that I do not like the death penalty.
    In general.

  • Ratboy

    I see Mr Class, Jeffie is here

  • Ralph Hahn

    Coffee Steve: You like the BEEB?

  • Coffee Steve

    Calif. bill would let non-citizens serve on juries…

    Is this going over well with the population in California Jeff? Just Curious

  • Chriscee

    There was never a Clinton surplus. He borrowed from social security, medicare and medicaid to make it look like a surplus. If there was ever a surplus the national debt would go down. And under Clinton the only thing that went down was Monica

    I’m just waiting for you all to one day realize how foolish you are for debating politics in here. Even more foolish by being a cheerleader for your little sh$%ty news channel that you love so much for no known reason whatsoever.

    But we aren’t cheerleaders for MSNBC…so you don’t have to worry…

  • Coffee Steve

    @Ralph Hahn
    Coffee Steve: You like the BEEB?

    If I am sound asleep and have ear plugs in, and a pillow over my head and its playing so low on a super hearing dog lying right next to the player can hear it, sure :mrgreen:

  • Coffee Steve
