Vote In Our 4th Annual "Don't Save Their Show!" Poll

The silly season of meaningless "Save Our Show" polls from by entertainment sites (E! Online and USA Today among them) has begun!

Of course, those polls have no effect on any network decisions, but certainly give some fans the false hope that they're actually doing something to help their show.

If entertainment sites can spread false hope with their nonsense polls, maintaining the balance of the online TV universe* demands we spread false gloom with nonsense polls of our own!

In the 4th Annual** TV by the Numbers "Don't Save Their Show!" Poll you get to vote on which shows the TV networks should cancel instead of save!

There's only 22 hours in a broadcast primetime schedule (or 15, or 10), so every one of their shows that gets cancelled means more of a chance for your shows to get renewed (or so the logic of the desperate fan may suggest).

Included in the poll is every scripted broadcast primetime show (grouped by network) that either the Renew / Cancel Index or Bubble Watch has pegged as anything but renewed or cancelled already (plus the obviously canceled Smash, just for extra fun!)

Vote for as many shows as you'd like, as many times as you'd like!

I promise that the decisionmakers at the networks will give as much weight to your votes here as they do to the votes in all those silly "Save Our Show" polls: None!

*Not to mention generating traffic for us.

** Our readers picked Gossip Girl as the show they didn't want saved in last year's poll. It was ultimately renewed for a short final season, but, of course, our poll had nothing to do with it!

    @David
    Steve, I didn’t mean all CBS viewers are old, just that CBS is the only scripted programming most of them watch.

    You misunderstood me. I didn’t mean to say ignorant statement A, I meant to say ignorant statement B.

    :roll:

  • See BS

    This poll is no fun. I can’t vote against any of the mindless trash on CBS because it’s all already been renewed.

  • Anna

    Why is the fate of Up All Night even being debated?

  • JacobYates

    I’ve been trying to wage a war against the desperate fans on the SOS polls, but I’m fighting almost solo.

    My battle plan is as follows:
    1) We wait until the next poll is released.
    2) We attack E! Online and defeat the ignorant with the power of ratings!

    WHO’S WITH ME?!

  • Amber

    Ynna honest opinion from someone that watches the show? How could you be honest about it when you obviously watch a show you dont even like what a waste of your time….WOW

  • Zapbob

    Cancel CBS……tired off all my old friends talking about how good the shows are. Does anyone under 50 watch CBS???

  • Gio

    I just want say something about hits and marginal shows from ABC… Scandal, on its first season, was a marginal one, yes. But the serie has risen and now it’s in a better position than Revenge, what is incredible. This comment, written by Anthony, made me realize how proud I am of Scandal. Can’t be cancelled, I already voted against all the others and I’m sure it’s going to work. THANKS TVBTN!!!

  • Brian

    Really? you people need to get a life by posting this stupid ++it!

  • Xerophytes

    Of course, I voted all shows that I don’t watch.

  • langslow

    I voted for Up All Night because it is absurd that the cancellation hasn’t been announced, CSI:NY which should have been put out to pasture last year, and Nikita. I know the show is being renewed, but with those horrible ratings it shouldn’t be. How much money do TPTB earn in syndication on such a low rated show?

  • nickDALLAS

    ok whoever voted hannibal must not’ve seen it or they are christian radicals who take tv too serious. hannibal is probably the only really well made show on that list. seriously all tree episodes were movie quality, great script and directing, acting is good, just a great show. you should try t ut if you haven’t given it a chance yet. yes i thought the same thing. anothrrrr take on sience of the lambs i mean come onn, it’s been done. i mean can hollywood not come up with one original idea, even though i do like The Following it sometimes goes a little too far out there comically. anyway somehow they have done it right hannibal is some seious ishh…

    I usually don’t advocate the cancellation of network shows for no reason, but BATB on The CW needs to go!! That $h!t replaced TSC, which was a much better show with higher ratings. The CW deserves to crash and burn for its utterly stupid decision to cancel Secret Circle in favor of the crap that returned (ie. 90210) and debuted the past fall/spring (ie. BATB, Cult, Emily Owens, etc.)

    Does anyone under 50 watch CBS?

    Seriously?

    I’m for whatever gets Cop Rock back on the air.

    Seriously!

    Cancel Beauty And The Beast!

  • Me

    This poll is a fake.

  • David

    I voted for the diabolical Beauty and the Beast! And Community. Community has cheated death now. If it returns I’m going to be really annoyed because it doesn’t deserve another season.

  • David

    @Me

    No kidding.

  • JSunkist

    Should I be surprised “Modern Family” is added to this fun-for-all poll?

  • Holly

    @JSunkist,

    Should I be surprised “Modern Family” is added to this fun-for-all poll?

    The poll includes all shows that aren’t already renewed or cancelled. Since ABC hasn’t announced any renewals yet, that includes Modern Family.

    What are you implying?
