    Well, as of April 30th I am officially done with Y&R. New Kyle was NOT needed and the writing was on the wall (pardon the pun) when a scene ended and 3 of the 5 characters I’ve been complaining about were ALL in the same scene — Chelsea, Dylan, and in walks Tyler. I think that’s fair: it’s been over 6 months now since the new team’s material started which I believe was mid October. I’ll have to hand it to her, but JFP has completely F’d up this show in record time to the point I don’t even think it can be salvaged anymore. So sad…..

    Just read that Jeanne Cooper is back in the hospital. The short post I saw didn’t give any details or anything. She came home from the hospital on the 27th and now back. I hope she is okay.

  • PatF

    Mike…yes, it’s sad to hear that she’s back there. I hope she’s out again soon.

    Just read about the Daytime Emmy noms! Y and R leads all shows with 23 noms out of CBS’s 40 total. I’m so happy for the actors and all the hard working people behind the scenes. Great job!

  • PatF

    Oops…need to correct myself…CBS got 50 total nominations. So awesome! The Talk even got more than the View this year.

    @TimsDale4ever Bye!

    @Mike, that’s sad to hear I was so excited that she had returned home, and now she’s back, praying that she gets well :-(

    @PatF Wonderful news, congrats CBS.

    As far as the AMC and OLTL reboots, I would say it is far too early to judge. I find I like OLTL better than AMC. OLTL seems to move at a faster pace. Loving that Trevor ST John is back. I don’t like the change in Matthew I mean the show picked up supposedly right from where it left off yet now suddenly Matthew is a total different person. Doing things that the character in the past would not do.

    AMC is moving at a slower pace and has more newcomers that are going to take some getting used to.

    Production values of both shows did surprise me.

    New ratings are finally out at SON.

    Y&R had a good week. #1 in all categories.

    Not for long Y&R SUCKS
    Stupid Greedy Steve Burton will go down in flames
    A well deserving Outcome!!!!

    Can’t stand DOOL! The writing sucks! EJami are disgusting, and our vets are barely on! Nicole’s love life is such a slow storyline and the Kristen thing has gotten boring already. Like Dannifer, but they get too much airtime and it’s always the same story for them! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! DOOL, get new writers!
