Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    No…Hannibal.NO!

  • Glue

NO! TVD! :/. Hope It Goes Up

  • Phil

TVD ratings is a huge letdown

  • Kyle R

    Well, Hannibal’s dead. That sucks.

  • Seth

    Floppibal

  • Ron

I always forget about the NFL draft. I know it really affected BBT last year too. Nice for Scandal though. Its off for a month and comes back stronger than ever. For those saying ABC hurt OUAT and Revenge just take a look at Scandal. Long breaks don’t hurt the show at all

  • senor chang

    OH MY GOD HANNIBAL.

every new show I’ve watched this season has bitten the dust, and I am NOT ready to lose this one.

although it looks like it was a fairly morbid night all around, so who knows?

  • Billy

As I correctly predicted yesterday the NFL Draft destroyed the networks last night. Especially the male skewing shows like the CBS shows and NBC sitcoms.

  • feinn

Wow bad for nbc and cw.
Arrow will be top show next year
    Tvd spinoff in doubt now

  • Hannah

I am disappointed Glee wasn`t able to hit a 2.0. I didn`t care for the episode last night. I hope it goes up in finals, but I doubt it.

  • Revenger

    Dammit DVD whyyyyyyyyyyyyy?

  • Phil

Those ratings for TVD might not bode well for The Originals

  • Melanie

OK for TVD “The Originals’, I guess.

I really liked it. I hope it goes to series.

BATB still a little higher than HOD & TCD.

  • SJ

What the what?! Aside from Grey’s, Scandal, Person of Interest and Glee, each show either matched or hit a new season or series low. Terrible!

    Hannibal is dead.

  • Wright

WTH….that was a great episode of TVD!!! Also, I can’t believe Hannibal and Elementary did so poorly. Are these ratings correct?

  • Monica

    Hannibal is gone.

Elementary, why must you make me so sad?

  • Tony JJ

WOW SCANDAL! Without an overrun too last night! This could be the say Scandal overtakes Grey’s Anatomy! Didn’t think that would happen.

And ouch for Hannibal. Haven’t watched last nights episode yet, but I may give up on it just for the fact that it’s ratings are falling and they are not airing episode 4!!!!

Wish TBBT numbers were higher. Last nights episode was hilarious.

  • john

Congratulations TBBT. You have just handed The Walking Dead the #1 demo ranking for the season.

  • Petar Ivanov

    POI INSANEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I mean against NFL draft and NBA playoffs in May with hot weather(almost summer) and crime drama with so many male fans.

One word – QUALITY! Thanks US PoI fans.

  • were123

Almost everything was down this week, so I think the nexr one we’ll see most of the shows rising (I hope Hannibal get up at least to 1.3).
Good for Scandal! I hope it keeps the rating, but I have the feeling it will be adjusted down
