The CW is replacing previously scheduled Friday repeats of Oh, Sit with encores of Supernatural beginning this Friday, May 3. So far, Supernatural repeats are airing Friday at 9PM for the first three weeks in May. The  network has decided that the Winchester brothers are so nice they want to show them twice. Supernatural aired original episodes on Friday for several seasons.

@Samunto – Why would the CW care where Grimm went? When they were head-to-head last year, Grimm did not affect Supernatural’s ratings. Neither did Fringe. SPN was about as steady as you come last year.

That being said, I would expect Supernatural to move to the later Tuesday spot. I only hope they will not move Grimm there too because I think it will effect Grimm’s ratings, not the other way around.

I think it’s funny how people think Supernatural will be moved from Wednesday at 9PM next year so that Arrow can help launch a new show. Mark my words, by this time next year SPN will be pulling in higher ratings than Arrow. In fact if the network doesn’t produce a new hit next year SPN may be the highest rated show on the network by next spring. Arrow’s ratings aren’t all that impressive for a show in its first season and TVD ratings have been slowly declining while SPN’s ratings have been higher on avg this year than last year and remain pretty steady.

My guess is they’re going to show the reruns on Friday for the next few weeks to help boost Nikita’s ratings at the end of the season, or simply because they have nothing better to show in that timeslot.

@Daphne, it looks like Grimm is going to Tuesdays at 10pm for the rest of this season. Of course that doesn’t mean they’ll leave it there next season but I’m betting if it does well after The Voice it will be a sure bet for the 9 or 10PM Tuesday slot next year.
