Grimm Season 2

Grimm fans have long complained about the show's lack of a lead-in. It's not just Fan Excuse Bingo given that for the first half of the season it followed a random assortment of reruns and currently airs after Fashion Star. Nonetheless, the show is often Friday's top rated drama among adults 18-49, usually garnering ratings in the 1.4-1.6 range. Tonight, it moves to a new Tuesday at 10PM timeslot, following a two hour episode of The Voice.  So how do you think it's going to do with NBC's strongest possible (albeit not particularly compatible) lead-in?   Make your prediction!

  • Joseph

This will likely be the most-watched episode yet of “Grimm”.

And expect it to stay in a mid-week timeslot come September. It won’t go back to Fridays.

In fact, I expect that NBC’s Friday night schedule this fall will be a combination of reality, newsmagazines, and maybe reruns.

    The Voice; 3.9

    Grimm; 2.0

The Voice had a 4.1 on Tuesday last week, but it was a 1 hour episode. I bet The Voice only drops slightly, say a 4.0 for the 2 hour episode. Guessing Grimm holds about half of that. 1.9 to 2.1.

I’m feeling optimistic about Grimm’s ratings, so voted that Grimm’s ratings tonight will be >2.3.

  • s0303

1.9…grimm is a bit like shark tank…it is a hit on fridays (by nbc standards) but move it to another night and it just does okay…

  • Barbie

Is it too optimistic to hope for a 2.0?

I don’t think The Voice will help it that much. It’s tough to change timeslots at the end of the season. I think it will get about what it normally does ratings wise but I will be very happy if the ratings go up and I am proven wrong.

  • Jerry

I think this week might be somewhat high because of people checking it out who watch The Voice and haven’t seen it before. Due to it being more of a niche show and somewhat serialized though I expect it to drop next week.

  • Joe

I think that it’s extremely unlikely that it will do any better than a 1.9

  • TVDude

I would be really shocked if Grimm beat Revolution, but you never know. I think it’ll be in the mid-1’s, personally, but we shall see.

  • John

It’ll never beat Revolution’s season average. But since a lot of people will check it out for the first time, I think 2.5. Expect it to drop in the following weeks. Still great for the show.

  • Dan S

I can see it tying its series high. I went with 2.0-2.1 but can only hope it goes higher. If it does well & they keep it on Tues Parenthood will need a new home. I think Dracula would most likely go to Fridays if Grimm doesn’t .

1.9-2.1 i guess. crazy love for Grimm but its not Mon-Thurs kind of show. really hope more people will check it out even it doesn’t matter as it have been renewed.

  • Nancy Mahews

I love Grimm, and it might do ok today against local news and Body of Proof is not on, I cannot see the Voice’s audience being the same as Grimm’s audience. Also the NBA Playoffs are on again I think no to mention local baseball games I think Grimm should stay on Friday as it just seems to fit there and does well there.

  • Brian

It should go high because it only has very limited competition against it tonight, that stupid Diane Sawyer special on ABC has pre empted Body Of Proof.

  • Brian

I like it on Fridays because the ratings are appropriate for that day. I don’t know id the current ratings of 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, etc are okay for anyday other then Friday; thus the 5 smilies would disappear next season.

    2.0 – 2.2
