Revolution, Ready for Love, and the New Normal make Go On look so good. The lowest Go On went with the Voice as a lead-in was 1.9, and that was with a 4.1 rating for the Voice. The other three losers all had higher lead-ins and lower ratings.

From a full season 2 too a half season and series final for Revolution ?

  • Mike

Sorry about Revolution, but still , it is in NBC, so it’s getting a second season in another time slot.
Castle is the clear winner . Congrats. Captain Nathan Fillion is a hot property for ABC,
H50 is a big flop. Those numbers for CBS are hilarious. It should had been canceled, but thanks to TNT, let the crap come back next season, it will be fun to see it crash on Fridays, LOL.

If memory serves, 2BG was doing great last year behind TAAHM, then started doing worse with Partners as a lead in, went back to better numbers with a repeat of two and a half and big bang and then again down with rules of engagement. I’m sure it’d do amazing on Thursdays after big bang.

Revolution really is dying. If NBC moves it away from the Voice next year, it will premiere with a 1.4 at the highest.

‘CASTLE’ was amazing last night. Glad to see it wasn’t adjusted down like some predicted. Hope it continues to do well for the remaining two episodes of this season.

    @Holly

Sorry two year ago, the lowest Castle rated episode with DWTS as a lead in was…

    Fall 2010 2.5
    Spring 2011 2.8

    If you meant last year,

    Fall 2011 2.1
    Spring 2012 2.1

    @CrimTV

I certainly have no problem leaving crap shows toward the end of a season.

  • Austin

Wow. Revolution is not a complete terrible show. NBC haters don’t realize their biggest problems are the cause of Comcast.

  • Michael

I’ve never heard Comcast as a fan bingo excuse lol.

It seems you got 2BG’s numbers wrong. Here what I got:

    Average from January – April
    2BG 3.27
    TAAHM 3.83
    TBBT 5.53

    Season to Date
    2BG 3.41
    TAAHM 3.83
    TBBT 5.3

“If memory serves, 2BG was doing great last year behind TAAHM, then started doing worse with Partners as a lead in”

2 Broke Girls aired before TAAHM, not after it. Only for the series premiere.

  • Jay

Revolution not even the best new NBC drama. Ratings grossly inflated by lead in. Just an average show. Best NBC dramas are on Wednesday night.

I think NBC has made Revolution too heavily dependent on its lead in. If it’s moved anywhere next year it will flop hard, like Smash did. NBC should have aired only the premiere and episode 2 after the voice then moved it to another night. Then they’d have known if it could’ve stood on its own.

@Holly. Did Castle really get ones after DWTS getting 4’s?? I know most seasons Castle dips in the middle and does poorly around December and january and that most seasons its hit the high ones (even when other shows at ten were doing much better in general – hey you’ve got to give it a point for consistency!)

But I honestly didn’t think it ever followed a DWTS in the 4’s with a high 1’s?

Anyway Revolution kind of sucks. It’s seriously overhyped and is weak as its long term trending shows. I don’t get why NBC don’t put a solid procedural behind The Voice- they might end up with a stayer that way. They’ve tried big concept drama after big concept drama in that slot and they’ve all failed. Once a serialised show goes on this trajectory it rarely recovers, whereas procedurals can (look at NCIS).

  • Katelyn

Very disappointing that Revolution was adjusted down. We got to see some great character development with last night’s episode. From the preview, Giancarlo Esposito’s return should make for an even better episode next week!

  • Dan

Damn, Revolution, stop falling! Still decent for a NBC drama though.

That applies for Hawaii 50. …it sucks …Overhyped…Over-promoted…And it has been trending down since the pilot, never recovering….Same thing. And Over-expensive too. Plus two changes with two post huge lead ins that totally wasted.
And because Hawaii 50 is on CBS, all is even worse.

Revolution is going down and down and down.

Castle’s rating is stable, that’s good news for me. I love the show. The Following finale did well too and even beats 2 Broke Girls, I guess the show deserved to be renewed after all, but I wonder how the story for the next season will proceed. The overall trend for Five-0 doesn’t look good, now it constantly ranks the last in its time slot, especially for the past few weeks, and both rating and viewership decline fast, if this trend continues, I doubt Five-0 could survive another season despite been renewed and I know that CBS is not very tolerant for low rating
