Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

NO. I mean Grimm will win 10;00 tuesday*!!

  • Winston

90210 actually been decent since hiatus…whats the saying “too little too late”

  • Mark

    Ultima
    Regardless it will. lol
In no I didn’t base my judgement on half hours alone.

  • mindilee

    @bluejays

I agree but if that happens it’s too bad because next week’s episode looks really good – will hit close to home for Danny! And the last episode looks to be really intense for Kono!

  • John

Nobody with half a brain can call that pic a spoiler really.

  • Max Vrany

@Tom, It’s subliminal advertising to watch the show live. #nbcwatchitlive

  • PurpleDrazi

    Rough night for CBS.

  • Mon

    @Mon
One of the reasons why H50 had lower ratings because last week’s episode was bad! Boring to bits and pieces. I hoped for a better comeback episode but the show within a show concept sucks!

This is a different NEW Mon. I don’t post such lame reasoning.

  • Mark

Haven’t watched the following yet but sad to hear it’s a cliffhanger as I doubt i’ll watch it again after this season. I can only take the police being so inept at their jobs for so long before I can’t watch anymore lol.

Sad to see the ratings for himym as it was a fantastic episode.

  • Mark

Also yeah pretty stupid picture to put up there if it’s from last night lol.

  • Ultima

    @TheFrenchGuy
The Following returns in the fall or mid-season ?

Midseason. They can’t air 15 straight episodes during the fall.

  • Dan

    *SPOILERS*
Well now that Agent Parker is dead, I am holding out hope that Annie Parisse will return as Kara Stanton in POI
    *SPOILERS*

The Following was predictable; H50 was meh, Aisha Tyler really dragged the show down.

  • BigBrotherFan

The FOLLOWING finale was really good brings back memories of a kid watching 24 except maybe a ULTRA dark 24. I really hope *SPOILER* they don’t mess it up and bring Joe back from the dead. Leave him dead. They really should of killed of Emma she’s that character people have been dying to see die from the start. *end spoiler*

CBS is a mess. It’s time for H50 to be shipped off somewhere else. I don’t know what else CBS could possibly of done to make this show a huge hit? Alex O should be so lucky he has this kind of support from the network they are pretty dead set on making him a star but something isn’t clicking. I mean, MOONLIGHT, THE JLO MOVIE (FLOP) now this..? chalk it up CBS! It’s just not clicking. surprised that MIKE AND MOLLY doesn’t do so hot! Granted, I don’t watch it but Hollywood has SUCCEEDED IN MALKING MCCARTHY a huge star where they have failed with Alex O.

Please ABC get rid of DANCING WITH THE Z LISTERS!!!

90210 is a joke! can’t even keep OH SIT viewers!? lol

Revolution will be adjusted down and does not deserve a post voice slot next season. Give it to a show with potential (AND NO A 1.0 FOR HANNIBAL IS NOT “POTENTIAL” so don’t even bother with that crap FANBOYS!) CHICAGO FIRE has proven it deserves a slot!

  • Max Vrany

@Ultima, they could squeeze it in the fall if they premiere it early and/or double up on some episodes.

But, it’s been confirmed to be a midseason show, so any further discussion is pointless.

  • AA

wow following is a pure hit!!

  • Rob R

Hawaii Five-O headed to Friday perhaps??

  • Gustav

If Revolution is adjusted down (like ever), my predictions will be correct.

  • Taylor

BigBrotherFan, I agree with you about the idea of Chicago Fire being more deserving of the Monday night The Voice lead in than Revolution is. I like Revolution, but Chicago Fire is definitely a much better show. Plus, if I’m not mistaken Chicago Fire has already aired behind The Voice several times earlier this season, and I think it did fairly well.

    @ sally

    “alias tyler”

Haaaaaaaaaa! *alias*? Haaaa! Awww, you made my day. :D
It’s Aisha (pronounced i-e-sha). And even though I didn’t see the episode you’re probably right about her performance. ;-)

*** HUGE SPOILER ALERT *** – DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE SEASON FINALE:

I am a huge fan of The Following, but if Joe Carroll is really dead then I am completely done with this show and i believe the show will die because of it. I cannot stand Emma and could care less if she takes over for Joe. i also do not care about the woman that stabbed Ryan and Claire @ the end either. These characters just do not interest me. Joe and Ryan make this show what it is and they are BOTH essential in continuing this journey TOGETHER. HUGE mistake to kill Joe off like they did. Purefoy and Bacon are the best actors on the show. Really enjoyed the finale until that happened. Hopefully Joe will be back next season; if so – I am all in, but if not, they have lost a loyal viewer and fan for good. Please let me know if wny of you have heard if Purefoy plans to be back next season.

    Thank you.
