  • In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.
  • From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Pretty sure Grimm will adjust down (based on the half hours) but still, better than I thought. Wonder if they will move it back to Friday next year?

  • S.P

    Go NBC!!!

  • Bryan

My lord, New Girl skews so young! Grimm proves that a real hit show will benefit from The Voice. Take that Ready for Love.

  • s0303

those are some bad numbers for ncis:la, the mindy project and dwts…

  • Eliot

Grimm looks strong, although after adjustments, I doubt it’ll be that high in terms of share and viewers. NBC were right to renew this for a third season, and I for one think it works well in the slot its currently in.

NCIS: Los Angeles looks a little low to me.

  • John P

    DWTS 1.5 Wow

  • Winston

Thank you bluebell for creeping back up!

  • tv_viewer

I’m pleasantly surprised that Grimm exceeded my prediction for it.

  • Samu

    GO GRIMM!!!!!! =)

  • Clarke

Yikes, DWTS is going down, down, down. ABC should really make the show only go one cycle a year. Splash has also taken a major nosedive. The real surprise is how well the 20/20 special did for ABC.

  • Barbie

@Percy, what makes you think people can’t like GRIMM and ONCE both? I don’t get all this hatred! I love so many shows that people consider “opposites”.

  • Bryan

Don’t be ridiculous. You’re comparing the suffering this girl went through to the ratings problems being faced by Golden Boy? GB sucks, just deal with it.

  • Raul

ABC should of aired Splash right after Wipe Out in the Summmer and but it in the Thursday 9/8 timeslot!

  • Bee

    a terrible night.

hahaha the voice is slowly coming back down to earth.

OMG DWTS at a 1.5?! wowow.

man, the 9PM hour is WEAK. a 2.2 at #1?

    splash at 0.9? yikes.

mindy was so great last night. wish the show was doing better.

  • Steph

Yayyy I’m happy NCIS is up. It’s getting really good.

  • senor chang

isn’t that number for Grimm the best number for regular programming in the Tuesday 10PM slot NBC’s had since…last fall? great performance, even with a few tenths of an adjustment it’ll probably tie Revolution. I still think it should stay on Fridays, but I can see why so many people are calling for it to move to another night, too.

horrific night for ABC. mixed results for CBS/FOX.

  • Ram510

    What happened to DWTS?

  • Gio

Grimm should not be treated like a spackle on NBC. It has relatively good numbers and is going to enter in its 3rd season… The show deserves some rewards.

  • CancelationBeaver

    Half hours ?

  • Nikki
