Will 'Nashville's' Ratings Be Country Strong Tonight? - Poll

Nashville

Last week, Chicago Fire fans rejoiced when the show was renewed. Fans of the other Wednesday night ten o'clock freshman drama, Nashville, are still on pins and needles. The bubble show 's most recent new episode on April 10 earned a decent for 10PM 1.8 adults 18-49 rating. But it was helped by airing opposite a repeat of Hannibal. Tonight it faces off against a new episode of Chicago Fire. Nashville usually does better on weeks when it's not in direct competition with the hunky firefighters.  So how do you think it will fare tonight? Will it do well enough to earn a second season? Make your prediction.

why does NBC have a new episode of the voice tonight head to head with idol? stupid but this will help the entire line up so I am fearing for NASHVILLE right now

    CF- 2.0
    Nashville- 1.7

hmm…I am going to be optimistic and say around a 1.8, ABC needs something to turn out good from there freshmen crop this season. Maybe Nashville will move to Sundays at 9 with a shorter season next year and air with Once Upon a Time Wonderland during the winter. I do not see it staying on Wednesday though no matter what happens because it just does not fit well. Either Revenge needs to go back to Wednesday or ABC should air one of there character procedural pilots preferably a dramedy one that will attract the Modern Family audience.

    @BigBrotherFan

Just a recap of the Voice (they are billing it as new). But it will hurt FOX’s IDOL and ABC’s line up. I think CBS and CW will do OK though. Just a hunch.

  • Paul P

    1.4 to 1.5

  • DenverDean

Plus no Duck Dynasty on tonight…. Will be interesting if the 10 p.m. hour sees gains across the board.

  • SS

1.5 – Hope it does better, but with all the random reruns, I wouldn’t have even noticed it was new tonight if not for this site.

  • Hillbilly

Hunky firefighters pffft! The hot ladies of Nashville, Yummy! All new shows on ABC as a lead in equals a 1.8 or higher.

  • Ron

Tonight just has a feel of many shows hitting season lows. The Middle: high 1s, MF low to mid 3’s. Nashville/Family tools/How to live.. mid 1s

  • Shepherd

Tonight’s just too nice for beers and bar-b-que. This show’s been quickly losing my interest anyway.

    1.6

In regards to my predictions in my prior post, I had seen Voice Billed as a New Episode tonight but if it is indeed a clip show of course it won’t hit 3’s although I still do believe SVU and Fire might see a slight boost into 1.9 range just from having a better Wednesday leadin even if voice does hit a 2.1.

  • MichaelChickless

    I will guess a 1.4.
