At least CSI was adjusted up. Not bad ratings for a 13-year old Show. I don’t think it will be moving to Friday if CBS wants to moveit it will be to Sunday because it had already been paired with The Mentalist and it was working.

  • Dan S

Wow, none of the 10pm shows could crack a 2. All the same this is becoming the norm & all 3 shows will be back. I’d say any plans to do a spinoff for CF should be held off until SVU ends its run anyway.

  • Jay

Surprised Nashville did not adjust down. People in droves tuned out in the second half hour.

  • MichaelChickless

    Come on Criminal Mimes!

I wish they had kept Reid’s girlfriend on the show.

  • Chelle

Could someone please tell me if Nashville numbers are good for it’s network and timeslot? I’ve been watching the show in the UK and it is fabulous, so I hope it doesn’t get canned.

    @Glue-

In L+7 viewers, MC ranks #65 for the season to The Neighbors’ #85. And in A18-49, MC ranks #69 to The Neighbors’ #100. Despite the fact that MC is on a lower HUT-level night. I understand you’re a fan of The Neighbors, as am I, but try to see things objectively.

    Neighbors STD:
    Live+SD
    6.059M viewers; 1.8 A18-49 (retention of 74% viewers and 78% A18-49 out of The Middle’s 8.163M and 2.3)
    Live+7
    6.959M viewers; 2.1 A18-49 (retention of 71% viewers and 77% A18-49 out of The Middle’s 9.768M and 3.0).

    Malibu Country STD:
    Live + SD
    6.151M viewers; 1.3 A18-49 (retention of 89% viewers and 87% A18-49 out of Last Man Standing’s 6.885M and 1.5).
    Live +7
    7.368M viewers; 1.8 A18-49 (retention of 88% viewers and 90% A18-49 out of Last Man Standing’s 8.343M and 2.0).

Nashville deserves the numbers it got. With everyone sleeping with everyone its gotten super soap operay with the drama. Also, I guess they saw Chicago Fire had a token homosexual character and decided they needed one in their show too.

    SURVIVOR SPOILERS

I can’t believe Andrea went home last night!! She was my favorite and I was pulling for her to win. I guess I want Eddie to win now.

  • Freddy Arrow

Still not sure why NBC didn’t immediately move SVU to Thursday nights after they cancelled Southland. I generally don’t buy into shows being tailored for a certain time slot, but that show really screams 10pm.

  • JLover

Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey are killing Idol!

Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. would be the perfect judging panel for Idol next season! Randy Jackson should return as a mentor or/and as a director/producer next season.

  • Tom

“Stephen Amell has no charisma and charm.”

I’d agree that he’s not exactly the best leading man, but the producers managed to compensate for a lot of that by surrounding him with a great supporting cast. I’m particularly impressed by Susanna Thompson’s portrayal of Oliver’s mother.

  • Alex

Its quite amazing how well The Voice repeats really. That clip show must have been about a point behind an original episode of Idol head-to-head. And in fact that clip show is probably going to be one of the best rated hours on NBC this week.

  • JONNYSBRO

Mariah has been horrible as judge way worse nicki. She’s disconnected, rambles, never can really tell the contestants anything meaningful. I love that idea of Keith-Jennifer Lopez and Harry connick jr. That would be a great panel.

  • MichaelChickless

Has Frankie Muniz guested in The Middle yet?

  • JR35

    Michael-

The 2.9 for Idol still is a low for a Wednesday airing- and I’m guessing a performance show, since at least the first season? Prior this season, the low was a 3.1 for the performance show.

  • Dan

That’s pretty good for Nashville i think it will get a second season. At least i hope so. As for AI i wish that JLO was the still a judge, she was so much better than the train wreck duo of Mariah and Nikki.

  • Bobby

Wow CBS dramas have fell quite a bit this week. CM, CSI, NCIS:LA.

On a side note….i don’t know why viewers would stop watching if Malcolm got voted off Survivor. I mean…sure he was a fan favorite but it’s a game and he was arguably everybody’s biggest threat to the game so why would you want to keep him around? If you were playing the game you would realize that that was a smart decision…even though you might not see it when you are watching the show.

I’ve already seen tonight’s Hannibal. Apparently Canada airs it a day earlier as it was available for download last night. A lot of “Silence of the Lamb” references in this one, with Anna Chlumsky essentially doing the Clarice Starling concept – but without Harris’ ending.

I think the show is laying the groundwork for a future episode going right up to the moment Graham gets attacked by Lector. Then if there’s a season two – which seems doubtful at this point – they probably will continue with Graham using Lector as a consultant from his cell, like they did in Manhunter.

As for Stephen Amell, I at first thought he also wasn’t particularly good, but the scene last night set before the boat trip showed he can alter his appearance and manner significantly. The scenes on the island show some ability as well.

It’s not that he’s a “bad” actor – it’s that his role as the Arrow requires the character to be overly stoic, unemotional and obsessive in his mission. I think that affects people’s perception of his acting ability. One has to be careful to separate the role and the actor. Amell may not win any Emmys but he’s adequate to the role.

Last week SVU got a 1.9 rating and everyone was all “WOAH that’s great for a show in its 14th season”. This week it fell to 1.5 and people say it should be its final season next year. Weird

Also, kinda glad Family Tools did so poorly. Better Off Ted no longer has the weakest debut! Better Off Ted was awesome.

Family Tools was funny, wish more people would give it a chance
