“Ravenswood” Set to Premiere in October

BURBANK, CA (May 6, 2013) – ABC Family announced today that it has cast two new series regulars in the “Pretty Little Liars” spin-off series, “Ravenswood.” Brett Dier will star as Abel, a lone wolf with an old soul whose trust is hard won but who is loyal until the end, and Elizabeth Whitson will star as Olivia, a once carefree and effortlessly happy spirit who has recently experienced hardship, leaving her questioning what’s important and what no longer matters. Abel and Olivia are twins whom fans will first meet during the “Pretty Little Liars” special Halloween episode.

From “Pretty Little Liars” executive producers I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Joseph Dougherty and Leslie Morgenstein, “Ravenswood” will center on a town, not far from Rosewood, PA (the home base of “Pretty Little Liars”), which has suffered under a deadly curse for generations. Five strangers suddenly find themselves connected by this fatal curse and need to dig into the town's mysterious and terrible history before it's too late for each of them.

“Season 4 of “Pretty Little Liars” will premiere Tuesday, June 11, on ABC Family, as the Liars strive to make sense of the mysterious “Red Coat” and what plans he or she may have in store for them.

“Pretty Little Liars” and “Ravenswood” are produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television and are executive produced by I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Leslie Morgenstein and Joseph Dougherty.

Dude from L.A. Complex…..Miss that show.

  • Nikki

they should see what Britt Robertson is up too, she would be good on this.

  • Michael

Nikki, ABC Family wants the show to see a season 2 and beyond lol.

  • Nikki

theres nothing wrong with Britt, shes actually a pretty good actress. It wasnt her fault her shows get canceled. Ever watch a movie shes been in, try that before you make mean comments. Ive seen far worse actresses then her… pick on them.

  • Ron

I love Britt Robertson,it’s sad she can’t find a successful show.

  • Charlie

No Britt is cursed she didn’t last in ‘Life Unexpected’ nor ‘The Secret Circle’ she’s just a crappy actress that nobody likes or wants to watch :D

  • Tom

    @ Charlie

I haven’t met this “nobody” you refer to, but I’ve seen Britt Robertson in both Life Unexpected and the Secret Circle. It’s my conclusion that she is a solid actress who deserves better material than she had to work with on either show. So, in future, speak for yourself.

  • CharlieIsAMoron

She’s a great actress however she may not be available for Ravenswood since she will be on Under The Dome on CBS and I would assume be under contract for that.

  • Charlie

^ butt hurt fans who don’t know what an opinion is thanks for using my name in your title what i said must of pissed you off that much :D

  • Erik

Life Unexpected got a season two, so your snide comment was a dumb one.
