    The left needs massive tax increases but it won’t work even if they get them. People will find a way around them or they won’t invest or buy as much. When ever you over tax something you get less than if the taxes are low. The left is desperate for money. They can not go into 2014 and 2016 with these massive annual deficits. They can’t cut spending or their base will never show up.

    Do you know if small businesses are exempt?
    Stooges, all of them.

    Good point, Why not help the brick and mortar stores by lowering their tax burden. That was my point.

  • Chriscee

    Senate now having final vote on sales tax. Small businesses with sales under $1 million dollars in out of state revenues are exempt.

    AWWWWWW!! This just breaks my heart!!

    Conservative radio shock jock Rush Limbaugh may be considering ending his partnership with Cumulus Media later this year, potentially signifying a momentous shift in the talk radio landscape.
    Sagging ad revenues and a disagreement between Limbaugh and Cumulus CEO Lew Dickey are the cause of the potential move, a source close to Limbaugh’s show told Politico on Sunday.

    If Limbaugh decides to sever ties, 40 Cumulus-owned radio outlets will lose access to “The Rush Limbaugh Program,” considered to be the most popular talk radio program in the nation, Politico reports. Additionally, the show may be featured on competing regional radio stations in New York, Washington, Chicago, Dallas and other markets.

    According to the source, Limbaugh and Dickey have been feuding over the Cumulus executive’s claims that WABC’s drop in ad revenue is a direct result of Limbaugh’s inflammatory statements about Sandra Fluke, Politico reports. In February 2012, Limbaugh called Fluke “a slut” after she petitioned congress to enact mandatory insurance coverage for birth control. The comments caused several major advertisers to boycott Limbaugh’s program.

    While Dickey maintains the Fluke incident caused a “residual hangover” for the station’s ad revenue, sources close to Limbaugh remain unconvinced.

    Awwww Jeffie…rush doesn’t need them. He will do what beck us doing.

    Cry on..get a boat and paddle upstream Jeffie.

    I fully believe that some on this network sit in a room and think of the weirdest thing they can say on air, and then go out and broadcast it

    Limbaugh says he replaced all the advertisers with new ones.

    He is not as good as he used to be. He is getting older. Everyone has their prime and Limbaugh is in the twilight of his career. He is like an old ballplayer that can still play but he is not as good as he used to be.

  • Chriscee

    @Coffee Steve

    I truly think Toure was dropped in infancy.

    I watched that segment and honestly had my jaw drop

    Just reading his twitter feed proved that to me @SP

  • AppleStinx

    @Chriscee

    Thanks. While I’m relieved that this won’t affect me in the near future, from now on I have as a goal not to sell more than 1 million out of state.

    Maybe MSNBC should try to get Rush to come over and help them. I just made a funny!

    That would blow their great budget, on just his meals.

    It’s kind of sad..how democrats are supposedly for the small business owners..but lordy if they make more money than Obama or democrats think they should..they want to tax them out the wazoooo.

    We all know Obama’s true feelings for small businesses. He truly dislikes them..but yet puts on a show trying to prove otherwise.

    He hit them with Obamacare and his tax hikes at over $250,000 and now the democrats just want more.

    Granted it is for STATE sales tax…but once this is put into place..what is next?
