CBS & FOX Tie for Lead Among Adults 18-49; CBS Wins Total Viewers in Week 32 Ending May 5, 2013

In week 32 of the broadcast television season ending Sunday, May 5, 2013, FOX and CBS tied for first place among adults 18-49 with a 1.9  rating average.  NBC was  third with a 1.8 among adults 18-49.  ABC took for fourth with a 1.6.  The CW finished fifth with a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating average.

CBS won the week with total viewers, with 9.218 million viewers, ahead of second place ABC with 6.672 million viewers. FOX was third with 5.983 million. NBC was fourth with 5.561  million followed by  the CW with 1.300 million.

Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.265 million adults 18-49.

    I never guessed that FOX would tie CBS for the #1 spot.
    Idol may be weaker, but its still strong enough , for now.

    I never guessed that FOX would tie CBS for the #1 spot.

    FOX has been #1 six of the past ten weeks (all but the four where CBS had a ratings boost from March Madness).

    NBC might actually win this week with five hours of The Voice (first time since their NFL playoff game).

    However, the ship has long since sailed on NBC catching FOX for the season. They might even have trouble topping CBS for the May sweeps title.
