Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Revolution wins its slot. Nikita ‘loses’ to both 90210 and Oh Sit! lol

  • L

I don’t wanna be the one to hate on Revolution, but I guarantee it will adjust down .1-.2… The Voice being LIVE means it definitely would have ran over at least a little bit.

    Ouch at CBS sitcoms…

And not shocked at Rihanna 777.

  • Cougar Town Forever

Boy oh Boy, DWTS. They really need to do something. This show is sinking badly. It would probably help if they switched the show to only a spring run next year. And they need to find some more engaging stars. They don’t need to be huge, but entertaining.

  • Dillan

    lol at Rihanna’s show.

I do wonder if 90210 will rise next week.

What about halves? I’m pretty sure a lot of people changed channels when Castle was on.. Such a dull episode!

  • Adien

H5O had an awesome episode last night. Hardly ever watch it but glad I tuned it! If only the writing was consistently good!

  • Oliver

Looks like Revolution has bottomed out at around 2.0.

Let’s hope Revolution get a 2.0 in final ratings.

CBS comedy block very low rated!

  • SJ

Castle will likely be #1 in the time slot in the finals.

Did not expect DWTS to dip below a 2.0. It could adjust up in the finals, but this show has officially turned into a huge problem for ABC. At which point does DWTS hit a point of diminishing returns? At 1.7? 1.5? Certainly trying out a new format – whether it’s reality or scripted – has to be worth it even if it’s just replacing one cycle next year.

CBS’s comedy block sure has weakened. If they feel they have good comedy pilots next year they should push Mike and Molly to mid-season. I’m thinking Rules’ cancellation and Hawaii 5-0′s move to Friday are a given. This night needs a major overhaul.

    Wow, that Rihanna special bombed!

  • john

we will see revolution’s true bottom once it can’t hide behind the voice, soon.

  • Dennis

ROFL FLOPUTION WILL ADJUST DOWN TO 1.9 :D :D

    MAJOR FLOP ALERT :D

  • SJ

I’m not surprised Castle dipped at the half-hour mark. That was one boring-ass episode!

  • mando

I doubt that Revolution would be going up. But I think Revolution can grow on its own next season without Voice lead in.

  • LOOOL

Go Revolution! Haters: SUCK IT. LOL!

  • Cyrax86

    Castle beating DWTS is epic!

  • senor chang

All three 10PM dramas tied (with a 1.9 rating) in the second half-hour.

That number for Rihanna is hilarious.

  • LOOOL

Even if revolution adjusts down, it will be up from next week. There’s no free fall, losers.

  • Billy

CBS must do a major overhaul to their sitcoms for next season. I really hope they do not simply plug in a new sitcom at 8:30 and leave things the same. CBS needs some changes on this night.
