Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Grimm may have a specific loyal fan-base because wasn’t it getting the same ratings on a Friday night?

This is nothing new for the Voice it always scores high in blinds, battles does well and then it goes down a bit when it starts lives. Last season though it started like this but by end of season almost 14 million had watched the finale. The Voice is going into June with much lower viewers but it did well 2 years ago when it went into June. It will have virtually no compeition by the time it hits it finale which should be good for show. The talent is really good this season. Sasha, Amber, Michelle, Danielle, Sara, Judith are all very talented. Should be an exciting finale for the show plus Shakira has been great.

  • Sel

Ok, last night I had prepared so much stuff to eat, drink and watch the season finale of my Dixie only to tune in and some stupid sports were on…wtf?! I hope those rating of Dixie is not much of disappointment, after all it was a season finale and they could have air it everywhere! Stupid sports can wait!

  • Jelly86

Wow, Grimm beat by Body of Proof and Golden Boy in Viewers. Grimm’s demo will drop to either 1.7 or 1.8. Not that great for Grimm. It should be moved back to Friday next year at a new time 8:00 pm. Grimm is like NBC’s filmed comedies – it has a niche audience.

  • Petar Ivanov

@Where is all the hostility for these ratings for Grimm after The Voice that there was yesterday for Revolution?

Even Grimm haters get it that Grimm will get the same ratings WITH or without the voice. Voice give 2 max 3 tenths boost. Althou without friday factor may be grimm can take this boost on its own. First part/30 minutes or this 1 minutes ovverun is where boost came from. Second part/30 minutes are Grimm/revolution on its own. But again better for grimm to stay at friday. Will get 4-5 seaosns there. Everything else is risky.

  • Petar Ivanov

And YES the voice fun part is OVER. Now decline start.

  • aiden

The Voice keeps dropping…… so much for Shakira & Usher being ‘must see TV’, the voice has never gone this low so early in the game….

  • Dan S

I was hoping Grimm could at least crack a 2 on Tues but apparently not. It’s on par with their other 10pm shows Revolution & Chicago Fire. My guess is Parenthood will likely stay put & Grimm will return to Fridays in the fall. Just give it a decent lead in like the new JJ Abrams drama Believe. Most of the last year they had reruns leading into it & Fashion Star.
Regarding Mindy Project I too am thinking Fox was premature in renewing a show now getting 1.3 as the season ends. It’ll likely get shipped to Fridays along with Raising Hope.

  • PurpleDrazi

    Happy for Grimm!

  • Nikki

HOD steady?? yeah steadily bad. lol wasnt it a finale too? how pathetic lol

  • Fred

No way should ABC just leave things the way they are on Tuesday. This is the most troubled night of the week.
Major changes needed on this night. Needs some solid scripted shows here.
Perhaps OUAT and S.H.I.E.L.D would work here. BIG THUNDER also looks like a possibility.
I despise SPLASH and the DWTS results show.

  • William

I have never ever seen one show of Grimm maybe i’ll watch it over the summer & catch up.

  • BigBrotherFan

Why the heck would NBC put a show that can barely only get a 1.1 rating over a show that can regularly get a 1.6 ON FRIDAY After the voice? Makes ZERO sense to me and just another HANNIBAL FANBOY! The show is DEAD NBC won’t waste anymore money primping it up! It doesn’t deserve it!

    Grimm does.

    Get over it!

  • Petar Ivanov

abc beaten by UNI in sweeps.

  • Petar Ivanov

Grimm should be anchor on friday.

  • Ultima

I’m soooooooooooooooo glad DWTS and VOICE have apparently run their course.

Only in the eyes of the completely delisional, such as yourself!

  • tv_viewer

    The Voice

    Live Playoffs, Part 1

    Season 3: 4.5
    Season 4: 4.1

    Live Playoffs, Part 2

    Season 3: 3.8
    Season 4: 3.6 (Preliminary)

    Live Playoffs, Results

    Season 3: 3.0
    Season 4: 2.9 (My prediction)

Now that the blind auditions and the steal are done, The Voice’s ratings are determined more by how the audience feels about the contestants, not the coaches. This season’s group of contestants isn’t as appealing as last season’s.

  • ron

When a show on a major network, though that is stretching the truth when the network is NBC, gathers an audience of barely 6 million viewers; it is neither good or something to applaud. When both competing shows beat it in total viewers, well that says who is more popular with the viewers. Cling to your feeble 18-49 ratings cause you have nothing else. Every economic poll that has been taken says the money is in the hands of the 25-59 group, certainly not the immature 18-24 group that are still looking for employment.

  • Holly

He might have a point on DWTS. It’s not at cancellation levels yet, but it’s falling significantly.

  • Wright

It’s funny how people talk crap about Revolution and praise Grimm when they both air after the Voice to practically the same rating. I love both shows, but some people make no sense at all. Too bad HOD didn’t get 0.6. Maybe it will rise in the finals.
