Fox News Channel, “Cha – Ching”. May,8 2013

Operating income at the cable network rose 17 percent from a year earlier to $993 million, and commanded higher fees from cable operators and more advertising revenue.

News Corp Chief Operating Officer Chase Carey said the company will invest to build new cable networks, with the launch in August of Fox Sports 1, a competitor to Walt Disney Co’s ESPN, in September. The company intends to spend “a couple hundred million and change” over the next year to build those channels, Carey said.
    News Corp shares rose 3.6 percent to $33.00 in after-hours trading..Double Cha – Ching…

    @ Siciliam Papa

The public cares about Justin Beiber, Dancing With the Stars, Iron man 3, Kim Kardashian, The Arias Trial, The Cleveland Kidnappings, The NBA Playoffs, The NHL Playoffs, etc.

THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT BENGHAZI!!!! When are you guys going to realize that. LOL

    @

    Lefties

I know you are upset. Your guy folded under the pressure on Sept. 11, 2012. No one knows what he was doing on that fateful night. Cowering in a corner, in a fetal position unable to act while Americans were dying in battle. Afterwards O. hid behind Susan Rice and Hillary Clinton’s skirts. Not much of a man, is he?

I understand you hating Fox News. Think about it without them no one would know about little man O. folding on Sept, 11th 2012.

Cnn loses big to Fox News in viewers as Fox continues to attract primarily the smarter crowd and tries to cover news with the benghazi investigation…..

  • AppleStinx

More people watched Fox News during the verdict hour than their competitors.

  • Chriscee

I can see the left wing liberals are grasping at whatever is left of their FAILED msnBS!!!!

Jodi Arias is finished…..and so is manBS and CNN

So sorry liberals….America is sick of your daily tripe!!

  • AppleStinx

HLN “owned” the Jodi Arias trial, but couldn’t beat FNC when the verdict came down.

I just love Mark2 , and his math.

  • Jeff

That’s it????? Fox under performs with all the hype……

God! Fox News has major problems securing legitimacy especially with key demo. CNN giving fox a run for their money. Seems people just didnt want to hear about Benghazi. They prefer to tune in for a real murder trial over a fake conspiracy theory.

  • Laurence Glavin

I knew almost nothing about the Arias trial because I don’t watch HLN or the Faux Right-Wing Propaganda Network and the traditional broadcast network TV newscasts hardly covered it at all. Stephanie Miller, on her eponymous TV/Radio simulcast this morning said that she completely ignored the whole mishegoss also, but from various sources she offered a complete precis during the first fifteen minutes of her program this morning. Apparently there were particularly sensational aspects to the trial so that testimony was on tape-delay on some channels. It’s understandable how this would attract several million viewers, while more newsworthy fare had to take a back seat. Now HLN’s task is to find a similar trial going on now (they’ll have to wait a while for the Cleveland atrocity trial).

@SnapTie “Fox News Channel, “Cha – Ching”. Operating income at the cable network rose 17 percent from a year earlier to $993 million”

Sorry but that’s NOT Fox News they’re talking about by itself…nice try though….lol

  • Doug Z

I just love Mark2 , and his math.

MSNBC operating income down 14% ======== That equals 31% better than MSNBC

Operating income at the cable network rose 17 percent from a year earlier to $993 million, and commanded higher fees from cable operators and more advertising revenue.

  • Trent

    @ Sicilian Papa

    HAHAHHAHAHA

You’re a laugh riot!!! No matter how you slice it, you guys lose. The demographics are going against you. The economy is improving. The possibility of a first female president will bring Dems out in 2016 (if Hillary runs). Her coat-tails will snag a number of Senate seats. Face it…your party is almost irrelevant. LOL

  • Chriscee

Liberals are such a FICKLE breed…

    They’ve lost their beloved msnBS

So now they are all about the losing CNN

    lmao…gotta love that!!

  • Coffee Steve

I have a confession to make, I don’t even want Maddow to keep losing to PIERS MORGAN LIVE, I want him to be deported as quick as possible.

  • Trent

    @ Doug Z

You are deluded!!! Fox only gets old people!!! That’s all they attract. They are not the future of this country. Sorry. :)

  • Mark2

    @DougZ

The biggest hour of the day was 4-5 PM. That was the hour everyong was waiting for the Jodi Arias verdict. I got these results from another site:

    #1 – HLN = 646,000
