    Now with this cancelled and The Office ending it’s run, NBC has officially become “nothing to must see TV” for this guy

    @Chris J
    “The Community finale tonight was a perfect close out to the series.”

    I agree, it was a good episode with a nice end.
    If the show get a series final, it will be a epic fight between the two schools, but for now it’s good enough.

    Poor Whitney Cummings.

    It is sad. Her only comfort is diving into a vault of gold coins.

  • pinkie

    did it end on a cliffhanger?

  • Rebecca

    @pinkie
    Not really. I think the bar owner friend (Mark?) kissed the blonde finally so there was a “will they finally get together now” thing near the end but that’s not really a cliffhanger. We’re to assume they get together.

    Well, NBC likely has its regrets! They cancelled the higher rated Harry’s Law last year, hoping to cash in on that important younger demographic with Whitney and Up All Night. It did not work!

    Seems like a safe bet that in addition to SSTW, one of NBC’s other pick ups will be a new multi cam. If it’s only one, my guess is that it would be the John Mulaney show, as he’s already part of the NBC family, but Undateable wouldn’t surprise me, either. I expect whatever pair emerges to air on Tuesdays.

    So my friend in New York was correct when he called me this morning (May 10th) to report that he had just seen a giant bear in Rockefeller Center growling in plain English “Cancel!” “Cancel!”, “Cancel!” as he entered 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

    A friend on the West Coast told me that he thought he saw a similar bear in Universal City yesterday.

    Deadline is reporting that NBC picked up Bill Lawrence’s comedy Undatable. bad news for community?

    I don’t get the fascination with Whitney Cummings. She is homely, she’s not funny, and the writing on the show BLEW! “You should be hitting this…”??? WTF. Good riddance, skank!

    ha-ha! You’re funny, Ultima! I like your witty responses! :D

    Yes … poor Whitney Cummings. .lol!!! I think she’ll be ok ..as the co- creator of 2 Broke Girls.. I don’t think we will need to have any tag days for her !!!! :)

    I think the show was cool but some of the humor was very cheezy and stupid.

    I am very happy. Whitney was a horrible show. One of the worst shows I never saw. The only thing worse than Whitney was The New Normal. I couldn’t be happier this bile is no longer going to be one.

  • Beaker

    I never understood why she had a show because she is zero funny.

  • Andy

    Wow that stinks that show was very funny. I’m disapointed by this news

    Another bad decision by tv execs – BOO on canceling Whitney. That show provided me a lot of laughs.

    Never watched one ep..
