CBS has cancelled CSI:NY after nine seasons.
I really did have hopes, though I knew it was coming. But I’m okay with it. It had a great run, and three series finales. Not a lot of fans can be this satisfied. Thank you, writers, actors and producers for everything. We love you <3
Only on CBS you cancel a show after 9 seasons without a proper send off.
fare thee well show
fare thee well
We all saw this one coming, but after 9 seasons it’s sad to see it go
I had it at 3% in my final predictions. With that said, I do think that it would have not been the worst idea to keep it, in case something flopped.
What say you now, crazies?
It had a Series Finale the past 2 years. You guys cant complain that much.
Was there a conclusion in the series finale?
You obviously don’t recall the unceremonious axing of Law and Order after 20 years.
Besides, the PTB at CSI: NY knew this was a real possibility.
My heart is broken
CBS will be sorry, just like they were several years ago when the canceled the Ghost Whisperer and they saw the ratings for that timeslot fall over 40%.
Who thinks that we will find out almost all of ABC’s decisions in a 30-minute period?
Oh, thank goodness. No offense to the fans, but imho it should’ve ended after the two-cases-per-episode format was dropped, or at the very least after Sela Ward joined the cast. (Or after the writers/showrunners/whoever made the decision started shoving Danny and Lindsey together, in a way that rather befitted mad fangirls…)
I hope we find out ABC’s decisions. Frick, they’ve been holding out.
for the delusional few who are shocked by this… the precedent was there! CSI Miami anyone? When CBS airs a season finale before April or May it is cancelled.
oh no . im not really shocked. it will live long in reruns.
Indeed, I did. Not to mention Scrubs, before it was saved by ABC.
I hate to see a show end after 9 seasons… So close to 10!
What the hell kind of proper send of are you hoping for in a police procedural.
Mac and crew were last seen enjoying a drink together. Isn’t it enough to assume they are still out there solving crimes (using unreasonable amounts of resources and crazy technology), just not for our viewing pleasure.
